Awsum - Your day sounded a lot like ours. Hubby spread compost. I weeded and organized drip tubing while Hubby rototilled the compost and gypsum and greensand into the soil. Those amendments are really good for desert areas.

I'll need to water the garden a bunch to get it hydrated enough for planting but I would certainly like to get some stuff planted next weekend.

I dragged my .... into the house and laid on the couch for an hour. Finally decided one ibuprofen wasn't enough and got up, had a snack and another ibuprofen. Hubby felt sorry for me so he took five bags of trash and two trash cans out to the street for me:)

The vet came and gave the tetanus, encephalitis and something else shot to the two horses. It was windy and Wiseguy was as nervous as a long tailed cat in a roomful of rocking chairs. I got him caught and he settled down enough to get his shot.

We got nothing done with the armoire or the shade cover projects but what the hey....we are only two people doing our best to survive spring.

Have fun raven and Terry.

Your sister must look very pretty, Semi, if she looks like Raven:)

moaning', Voltville.

It looks like Indiana is going to be the first to try to eliminate vaping as we know it and give it to big tobacco for their pocket lining. I guess what is reaped is sown by the voters. Look at NYC and what is happening to the crime rate there. I keep stocking up on flavors, VG, PG, and nicotine in case the Nanny State here gets on the bandwagon plus we all have the FDA and their "deeming" to worry about. Can we all say "out of control government" together? What makes it even more frustrating is that it is all based on myth and mis-information rather than facts.

I've got to load up some CE3s and tanks this morning then it'll be drip system set-up time followed by some planting. It is really refreshing outside this morning after yesterday so it'll be nice working outside today.

We've got a bad derailment jus outside of Philly on Amtrak. Five dead and 65 in the hospital. I'm guessing but it looks like "operator error", full speed into a curve.

'afternoon, Voltonoties.

Yes, let's see some photos Rave and Terry but with people in them as well for a change and not from a half mile away, either!

If ya click on my avatar, you can see it close enough. Too close for my liking actually. I've got enough problems without posting more photos of myself. Just sayin'.

That is so horrible. I am trying to keep a watch on our legislators here in Nevada. I'm worried about what they might do although it seems like several of the legislators like ecigs.

We're still trying to sort it all out. It looks as if that derned bill actually passed!! If so, we will be criminals if we make our own eliquid which is really our own choice cuz we won't be able to order from out of state. :glare: I wrote directly to Gov. Pence pleading our case awhile back, but you can't fight Big Business, Big Pharma, and Big Tobacco. The deck is stacked against us. This bill was ridiculous and it's looking like it still passed! Sure put a damper on Terry's and my evening. We don't even think that our local vape shop knows about it yet. More research to do, but not today. Today is for unwinding and de-stressing in the woods.

So, SO frustrating! The mis-information is used to scare away those that don't know the facts about vaping. But it's Big Pharma, Big Tobacco, and Big Business that pay off the politicians that are killin' us. The little guy really has no say anymore. Do you know that Big Tobacco is exempt from this Bill that was apparently passed?!

Good morning, Voltpeeps.

I am really, really tempted to call in sick today. I'm worn out and sore and I really could use a break from cleaning other people's houses.

I can't remember the last time I called a client and cancelled. I just might do it.

Done....called in sick. I am ready to hang out, make Hamburger Helper for lunch and generally enjoy my day.

The American Idol finale has been recorded and I am ready to hang out.

Unfortunately, smokers have been so hated on that anybody that even vaguely resembles a smoker, any product that even comes close to being a real problem solver for smokers, doesn't stand a chance.

Smoking may be bad for you but people who smoke are real people and they shouldn't be viewed as cash cows for taxes and fodder for hate mongers.

Those snus the Swedes invented are helping thousands of people and they are proven to not be harmful but if it isn't a pill put out by big pharma, there isn't snowballs chance in hell for a product to be accepted.

And those nasty smoker generated over $17B in local and state US taxes in 2012. So, if the whole US went cold turkey - where would they generate the revenue?

Simple, you'd feel another hand in your pocket. Any excuse to raise taxes and spend more is a good excuse.

It's a cool, breezy, day here. I hate breezy days. It drives the security camera crazy with the moving shadows during the day and the dust/pollen blowing around in the infrared at night. We also have foot deep drifts of oak threads gathering in sheltered areas. My dark green Jeep is now a light yellowish green from the oak pollen. It's everywhere and very heavy this year, or maybe it's just my perception.
