I found a Polish chicken on my brother's car!
I was thinking the same thing! Lol
I took a few pics, but they are not very good. So I am going to take better ones tomorrow!
That video is me all day today! Lol I checked on her every hour...haha
So far today I saw 3 chicks! 2 black with yellow on their wings and white on their chests, and a orangish/yellowish with brown spots. They also have feathers on their legs and feet! I am excited for the feathery feet feature! Lol I will post pictures tomorrow!
I went and checked on them, and snapped 3 pictures I think I saw a 4th black chick when I was out there, but I am not sure.

I'm going driving with Wiseguy today. The high is supposed to be 91 degrees so we are meeting early. I am hoping to get some photos this time.

Another bright, sunny day and it's supposed to stay this way through Tuesday. Temps will be in the low 90's, according to the handwringing dramatists, but it IS summer at the Jersey Shore last time I checked. We could use some rain though, green is starting to turn to brown.
I'm working inside today, laundry and baking. It's my grandson's birthday and he likes German Chocolate cake. The only way to really have a good one is to make it from scratch so I'm playing baker. Last time I did this I ended up making two. We left the first one sitting on the counter and went into the basement looking for something. While down there we heard a thump right in the area of the kitchen where the cake was on the counter. Bo ate about a quarter of it. I just made another one and, thankfully, he didn't get sick. When did nuts, pecans, turn into something as valuable as gold? Talk about sticker shock!

German chocolate cake is my all time favorite. Granma used to make me one every year for my birthday!!!!!
Given what goes into a German Chocolate cake, how can it be bad? I love it, but it's soooooo baaaaddddddd.

There are 3 healthy baby chicks 2 chicks pipped but they died during hatch. There are 4 more eggs left under Dumfy, but I do not know if they are going to hatch or not.

It is sad to see a full grown baby chick dead in the shell at the last stage. I am so glad 3 hatched healthy so far
Good morning, Voltpeeps.
Wiseguy and I had a very exciting drive Right at the beginning Wiseguy hit a big bump and scared himself and started running out of control. I was Whoaing like crazy and he stopped before he hit a fence!!!! We took a moment to calm down. The other ladies were very impressed with my getting Wiseguy to stop.
Off we went on the dirt, then onto the asphalt. Wiseguy decided that water main covers were very scary and there were lots of them. He was pretty jumpy yesterday but we did okay.
The ladies went up a goofy incline to get to a crappy road covered in horse chest high mustard. Wiseguy said "I don't think so" and turned around. I said "Let's try." He said "Okay" and we made it up the incline. We did fine on the crappy road with lots of bumps and tall weeds. We were going by the Bunny RAnch [it's a brothel] and almost back to where we started when Wiseguy saw the big boulders. He didn't like those and was shying away from them. Goofy horse.

Good morning Volties. Things are about the same with us. One big roller coaster ride of ups and downs but we're both still here. On a brighter note we became Grandparents to an 8lb 9oz 21" long baby girl Friday. Time to get ready for Church. Hope everybody has a bodacious Sunday. Took all the time to type this this morning and didn't hit post. I should stay offline until I've had at least two cups of coffee.
