Good morning, peeps. A delicious Sumatran coffee is on.
I tried multi quote but it didn't work out for me so I'll have to rely on my memory. This could go very wrong
SandySu - Wonderful pics, as usual. How is Penny the horse? Nevada is totally blowing out his coat right now and Wiseguy is half way there.
Awsum - Is the snow gone yet?
Terry - Sounds like a fun trip and, yes, we will need pics.
Cindycated - I am betting that you have a touch of arthritis. Maybe your right thumb started hurting because you couldn't use your left hand so your right hand was doing all the work? Then it got tired and started hurting.
Raven -Let us know how the cortisone cream is doing for you. Hope your wrist is improving.
It rained and it rained hard last night. Nice. However, the weeds are coming up fast and hard. Mostly cheat grass. I walk around most mornings for half and hour with the hula hoe trying to keep the weeds to a minimum. Cheat grass is bad because it comes up early, grows fast and dies as soon as the heat comes on. It then leaves little fox tails that can get into Penny Poo Poo's ears.
Now, the wind is howling. I'll have tofeed the horses a little at a time so a bunch of hay doesn't get wasted. Sounds like a day to clean my house.
When the weather clears up, I'll have to take a picture of my latest project. Hubby put in our larger pond. I think it is 250 gallons. It isn't huge but it is nice. I got the landscape cloth down and about a third of the rocks I need to cover it nicely. It is starting to come together and I am pleased with the results so far. I transplanted some dark red iris and some sky blue iris to casually hang out around it.
Of course, I have to haul in the rocks from the desert. A lot of work.
