Here is one of my favorite scenes:

This one was taken from a ledge on the edge of the property. That's Providence, Rhode Island, about 10 miles away. Yes, I took that pic and no, I do not like heights. lol

It is a beautiful place, Evie, but I have seen it all, over and over and over again. One of these days, I hope to be moving on.

I think so, Evie. Lis is Liscab, he's one of the first friends that I made on the ECF.

I don't believe I've met him yet. I guess the way y'all talk if I had I would have remembered.

I'm not a photographer, Sandy, but sometimes I get lucky. I have more pics on the computer that were taken with digital cameras. Most of my other pics are on film and taken with my 2, now outdated, 35mm cameras.

After I took that picture of Providence, I began to head back to the Monastery. I took this pic of the Monastery, from the top of the hill where the ledge is located. The Monastery is the cluster of "white" buildings, in the center of the pic:

And the Papa thing came about when I first met Jerry he showed a "pic" of himself that looked like a scary evil ogre papa smurf. So I dubbed him Papa Smurfogre so then I just called him Papa Smurf for fun then after getting to know him and a few shared tragedies in life stories and mutual respect I just simply call him Papa.

What white buildings? It just looks like someone lopped off the tops of the back row of trees! They're buildings? OK, now go take a pic of the chicken coop.
