I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I doubt me chasing Jasmine away will inspire Penny with an urge to be herd leader, though. She likes being bossed. "Less responsibility," she says. There have been rare times when Penny has been in a pasture with a bunch of passive horses, and she had to be the leader (somebody has to), and I think it made her nervous. She is much happier having another horse take that post.

I know a lot of people like that. :p

It's amazing how the fairly simple herd dynamics of horses can translate into the more complex dynamics of humans. In fact, there have been seminars where they take CEOs from companies and have them interact with horses to get an idea of how to better handle their employees. I'm not sure how a boss biting the flanks of his secretary would go over, though. ;)

People are a lot like horses only dumber. They follow a crowd and don't like to be left behind same as horses. Their's a hierarchy established that is always being challenged as with horses. I really don't understand the passive attitude some people have. I am a first born so I was the boss...a born leader but I prefer to be the leader of 1 these days unlike a horse. :?:

I don't really know where I'm going with this. Just typing to get my mind off things so I don't start crying.

I'm an only child, so I'm not sure where I fit in a hierarchy, though I do detect it. One thing horses have taught me is that I need to be more assertive. I guess this was proven in spades when I got my arm broken! BTW, though I'm an only child, I do have a half brother, though he was born after my daughter, so that doesn't really count.

Well i hope things work out, if she has YOU it will be probably better for her.

My kids will always have me for as long as I walk this earth. Maybe even after. :p

I'm so sorry Trit, nothing is worse than violation of your private space, especially when you are struggling so hard to get by.

Oh Tritium, I'm so sorry. Q's so right. There's nothing worse than the violation of your private space. Well, expect maybe the loss of the mementos of your mother. :(

Tritium, there are advantages to having a large, ferocious sounding, dog at home. Our place has a reputation based on how far Bo's bark echoes on a quiet evening. If you have some time, check out this thread on resistance versus VV/VW - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ughts-about-sub-ohm-latest-vv-vw-devices.html (no, I'm not the author).

Rave, hang in there. It'll straighten out, one way or another, given a little time and some TLC from you. Just remember the golden rule "never take one side".

I've taken her husband's side before, when it was called for. In this case, his actions were inexcusable and despicable.

Time to say good night with something besides sunsets. I ran out of sunset photos. So this is some red leaves from recently, when I was taking a walk, and the sun was shining through the trees and lighting only certain colorful leaves, a vine climbing up a tree.

Parthenocissus quinquifolia, otherwise known as Virginia creeper. So beautiful when fall begins.

Sandy Su - I really enjoyed your story. It really shows just how much is necessary for understanding the dynamics of herd and pack animals. Looks to me like you sure know what you're doing and both Jasmine and Penny know it as well. It also appears that Penny is in a better place than she was before.

Good morning, Voltpeeps.

Good idea, Raven, let'shope we all have a better day.

I survived my trip to the dentist. Getting a deep cleaning wasn't much fun and it sort of hurt even though she used a numbing agent.

Hubby is going to a Chinese doctor/acupuncturist today. I have no idea what this will cost!

Wuzz - I was reading a blog where the guy said if we do wide plank [9 inch] pine boards we need to put the floor down so that we can nail into the joists. Is that going to be true of skinnier boards? The widest we could go is 5 1/2 inches at lumber liquidator. We can definitely go skinnier. Any thoughts on that?

I'm going to meet Hubby at the doctors office. We are then going to go to the Home Depot for plywood. The sides to the horse shelter need to be up by the end of this month. I think we will go to Cal Ranch so I can stock up on salt for the critters and mini horse alfalfa pellets. Hubby wants to go to Tractor Supply. And, a quick trip to Costco.

I think I will plan on a big shopping trip in early November to make sure we have all the basics in the house like bread flour, all purpose flour and plenty of dogfood just in case it is as cold and awful as is being predicted around here. I can't decide if everyone is being a negative Nellie but I don't like to take any chances on running out of supplies during the winter December through February.

I also need to make sure there is plenty of grass hay, alfalfa and straw next month, as well.

Since it's so slow in here today I'll tell a story.

BF and I stopped for a burger at a place where you get your burger and go. No seating except for picnic tables outside. BF starts to pull into a sunny parking space and I said "wait, over there in the shade" so he turns into the shady parking space right in front of the picnic tables and there is this huge, fat man sitting there with his back to us and his pants below his .... crack. BF quickly backed up and parked in the sunny spot. Don't guys know that crack kills? 8-o

Hello everyone. I haven't posted in here in ages, but I still use SI products exclusively. They have the juice I want when I need it, been using iClears, and occasionally buy a a replacement battery. I did a stupid thing on the iClear though -- took it apart, decided it needed new innards, and tossed all but the plastic part away, then ordered the replacement coil. Duh -- I still needed the base. So I only have 2 of the 3 parts needed -- but the only way to do that is buy a whole iClear I guess. But they are out of stock and have been for awhile.

I never see any updates posted here, rarely see any new posts other than this thread. Have the SI folks moved on? Is there any info to be had anywhere? I even checked their Facebook page and they haven't posted there for a month. So what's the story or rumor? Should I just toss my X2 batteries and move to something else? Kinda frustrating that I have 2 new replacement coils and can't use them because of my stupidity, but now what?

I was hoping you folks might have some answers. Thanks :)

Hey starsong. There have been no stock updates in this thread since I've been here. I don't see any threads about stock updates unless someone posts a question like this one http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/smokeless-image/595430-expecting-new-inventory-labor-day.html

Sorry about your oopsy. :(

That is a REALLY good question Starsong! It has been much slower since Imagine got promoted. Lots of people are waiting for stock updates.

thanks to you and tmcase for the replies. So that Steve guy has been on here since January and has only 82 posts. I probably had that many the first week. So information isn't free-flowing like it was with Imagine. I'll check back here again to see if there's any more info, but looks like I may have to come up with Plan B. :(

Star, you should send Imagine a PM. Dunno if she's still around (she was when I opened the Party Room), but worth a shot, right? Maybe find out if a 510 base would work with your 808 heads? Then you could just buy any ole iClear. Sorry, don't have one to check.

Edit: Nope, just took a look at the pics on Fasttech and the positive pin is on the base, not the replacement head. Bummer. :(

Boy, they're not making it easy, huh? You can't even switch to the Aspire stuff, because those heads are out. Maybe someone will come along with an extra base to mail you...

Your nearest hydrogen bomb.
Good morning all. :)

Went into the traffic today to the police station to arrange all my license papers and transfer the bike to my name.
Didn't worked...
F...ing laws change everyday and i need another paper, problem is the guy who sold it is 700km away. Just as everything else i have to find a small window to skip procedures. Damn

On the good side: Roland the wipe new stuff works. It doesn't work well on badly burned plastics but it works on normally faded plastics.
