Your nearest hydrogen bomb.
You can install both, mapfactor has a free version and a paid one (around 20$) with better maps (tomtom maps) which by the way you can install tomtom https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tomtom.uscanada In the old days i heard it was good on US grounds.
Sygic has a trial version and you can buy maps or US or EU or the whole planet.

I use all of them but i have only the i-GO mostly.

Good morning, Voltpeeps,

I don't think I can comment on everyone's posts:)

Terry, loved your photos.

Uncle - I like to cook the beef New York loin roast at 350 for 20 minutes per pound. I put a little water in the bottom of the pan, some onions, carrots, potatoes [quartered] and some celery in the pan. Some salt and pepper and a couple of bay leaves.

Simple but delicious. The first day we have potatoes and carrots and beef. The second day we have au jus French dip sandwiches using the broth from the bottom of the pan. My new gravy separator helps with that a lot. It separates the grease off the top of the juice before I stow the broth in the fridge for the next day.

Tonight, I guess it will be sliced roast beast with pasta-roni and a veggie. The extra we will freeze up for sandwiches in Hubby's lunch.

Of course, the doggies get plenty of scraps for treats:)

It will be going cold according to the weather people Tuesday night and it will last for several days. Hate it!

Today is pretty nice with lots of sunshine but 17 degrees overnight.

I called about French doors. The guy says they have done mobile homes before, the doors would be fiberglass with double pane windows, the doors would be $800. Not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive either. Of course, the cheapest ones at Home Depot were Masonite not fiberglass.

The install would be about $300 and the taking out of the old sliders and the trim would be about $300. We could probably do most of the work on taking out the old sliders and not have to pay for taking out the old sliders. They are still in holiday mode so they can call me and come out sometime in January.

It is a lot of money but sounds like about what I was expecting. Home Depot would do the install and removal for $445 but I have heard that you end up having very little recourse if the services are not to your satisfaction. I don't know for a fact but I have read that.

Home Depot said I could get doors for as little as $600, I think, or maybe even less but the cheaper doors are made of Masonite which isn't a good material. So, Home Depot would be $1045 or more and these guys would be $1400 or less. My client has heard that the door guys do a good job but he hasn't used the door guys himself.

It's a big decision and a lot of money. I'll know more when the company comes out to measure for the French doors.

Not much action here today. I'll post the good-night photo early, though I'll probably be back to see if anyone is saying anything interesting.

Those are Canada geese, which are numerous hereabouts. I remember when they used to fly south every winter, but here, they stay, since farmers don't harvest all their crops. I remember thousands inhabiting an unharvested soybean field near where I lived. It was amazing how many geese congregated there.

Good morning -

I wish I was there, Wuzz.

1/2 and inch of snow and the wind is ripping and it is 26 degrees outside. Brrrr. I think I'll put on the flannel lined jeans to feed this morning.

We let Sassy, Willie and Rusty sleep in the house overnight. No accidents, so far. I hope we aren't spoiling these dogs too much but it is supposed to go super cold for the next three nights and I don't want them to sleep outside. WunderWeather says it will be 4 degrees overnight tonight.

I'll be giving the horses some extra hay after dark tonight to help keep them warm.

I'm hoping Hubby will bake some homemade bread since we aren't going to do much outside!

Hi, Trit, sounds chilly where you are at.

Good photo, SandySu.

Terry, sounds like you and BF are doing good out there in the woods:)

Raven - The response you got from your BF when he got his gift is so sweet.

Boy that was nice.
Preheating on the isuzu d-max had a few problems and couldn't start. Took the scoot and went to it, it was so intense i stopped after 10 min and threw up two times.
I have a sore throat from the cold air now. Drinking chamomile with honey.

It started snowing normally now but most of it will be tomorrow.

Yeah, that scooter work sure sounds like it can be intense, Trit!

No more snow here just a cold north wind. Should be even colder tonight but it now is down to 23 degrees out there. I have to clean a house tomorrow so you can bet I'll be preheating the Toyota! I'll want hot air to be coming out of that heater before I leave!
