So I got my Phidmus Woodimus Feederos or whatever it's called for my RY4 vape. I of course forgot to order batteries. Well actually I assumed since it ran off a 3.7volt battery that my Wet Box 3.7 volt battery would suffice. WRONG This thing is much bigger. For some reason i thought it was the size of a wetbox which is fairly small. Nope, it is more akin to a cigarette pack then the wetbox. So I ordered the other option for batteries which are two 3 volt batteries. I figured I should try out this 6volt vape. Plus I could always get a 3.7 battery later or a LR carto to make it 5volt....blah..blah..blah.

I was not too impressed with the 6volt experience at first. Plus I think coupled with the not so impressive filling of the feeder system to my cartomizer. It's kinda a pain to push in the button to push in the bottle inside. It's also a bottom feeding which means you hold it upside down. I think if you like the 3.7volt, the wetbox is just easier to utilize. The 6volt though is definitely growing on me. Oddly enough I am vaping less.. Which I am not sure what that is a product of. Anyone else have that kind of experience with a 6volt vape?

So you're getting used to 6 volts? So far, I don't care for high voltage. The highest I've had is a passthrough (5 volts) and I didn't like it! I have a wetbox (actually two), but I haven't been using them since I get hooked to variable voltage. I do agree though that they are very easy to use.

I think I am. I don't know.. only day two er three. I think at first i didn't like it cause it was so strong and it is very unforgiving if your carto is not really wet. There is definitely a huge difference in vapor amount. I just made some watermelon DIY, still not sweet enough for me. I used my kr808 xl which is around 3.7, versus the 6volt... wow big difference. The flavor was definitely deeper and more pronounced. I don't know if better is the right word. I dunno still to early. Loving RY4 on it though, it really kicks.

If you are using a variable volt, what does that mean for what volt you are vaping at? Like it varies completely?

Even though I am enjoying the 6 volt and the cool look of the wood, I really really hate the feeding button. It just sucks really bad. Which of course made me look at others. Now I want the Ali'i....drool they are sooo pretty and allow you to fill with your finger and see how much juice is left. Christ I really can't afford these mods.

I think you bought your Phidias from different place from me so don't know what all differences there are. The button has taken me a while to get used to as well, mainly cause the bottle has been soo stiff soo far. PM me sometime if you'd like and I'll guide you to a thread that has a lot of good Phidias info in it.

Taurox, With VV you are able to vape at different voltages within a range of your choosing. I have a Buzz and with the turn of a tiny little screw I am able to vape from 3.2 to 7.0 V and anywhere in between. I have found that I like 4.5-4.7. Great TH and doesn't burn quite as hot as 5V. Still experimenting with it though since I have only had it a few days.

Salem - I've found that a little higher voltage like what you're using is great on fruit and/or sweet flavors. I prefer darker liquids (i.e., RY4, RY5, etc.) between 3.7 and around 4.2. or 4.3. I can't imagine not having a vv mod! Can't wait to get my Buzz. :)

So why is the feeding button so bad? is it hard to push?

Currently, I'm using a Big Brother. There's a tiny dial on top that you turn to adjust the voltage (very easy). I'm expecting my Buzz on Tuesday. As Salem noted, it works the same way. The difference is that you use a little screwdriver to adjust the voltage.

So do you like the RY4 at 6 volts? That's interesting. I like it best at a lower voltage (3.7 to around 4.2 or so).

Yeah it actually hurts my fingers to push it in. I mean not seriously but... it's not pleasant.

What kind of batteries do you use with a VV setup?

I think i do like it, I like it with both my 3.7 and my 6 volt. However there is the nice throat hit with the 6volt. I don't seem to get that anymore I guess with my nic amount dropping, plus I guess the 50/50 of pgvg. What nic mg do you use with ry4?

I didn't have the money to attempt to buy one of the Ali'i mods today, but the store opened to take orders at 8pm, and was closed again in 12 minutes. lol

I'm still waiting on my Buzz, and will be for a bit yet. I chose to wait for the batteries. Atleast this way you guys will have more experience and can teach me once I get mine. :) You know me, I'll be shooting out a gazillion questions. First one already, how do you know what voltage your at, salem? Do you have a voltmeter?

I do have a voltmeter. I have seen people say that they just turn it up and down til they find there sweet spot but I really like the volt meter. I would suggest getting one from Ken or another supplier. You could get one local and cheaper but I really like having the connector on it so that I can screw it on and leave it while I adjust the voltage. Ken doesn't charge from shipping and is in your state. His has a 510 connector so i just keep my 808-510 adapter screwed on the volt meter and it works well.
I LOVE my Buzz and think you will too!
BTW- I love it so much that I ordered a back up. There are 3 of us using 1 and I don't want to be without if something happened. Anyway, they are out of the PURPLE! I was so sad about that becuase the royal purple is just gorgeous. I ended up getting a Peach so will have 1 like yours.

My Little Sister vv uses two 10440 batteries. My Big Brother uses two hd 14500 batteries. As Salem noted, the Buzz uses two 16340 batteries.

I use 12 mg nicotine most of the time, but switch to 6 mg late at night.

COV also has an easy to use voltmeter. It looks just like the one that Ken at BoxMods carries, but it costs a little more. I should have ordered one from Ken instead of COV. Oh well... I also ordered another voltmeter from Ikenvape. Don't know why... It should be here on Tuesday, as well as my new purple Buzz! :)
