I had that copied somewhere. Or maybe I lost it when I swept the laptop after it got a virus. Oh well no matter. I did the pumpkin pie one and it follows the same process. Lol

Sirius Fruitcake
Ingredients:

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
4 large eggs
2 cups candied fruit
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup flower
lemon juice
nuts
1 bottle whiskey (sample the whiskey to check for quality)

Directions:

1. Take a large bowl. Check the whiskey again - to be sure it is the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Repeat.
2. Turn on the electric mixer, beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.
3. Add one teaspoon of sugar and beat again.
4. Make sure the whiskey is still okay. Cry another tup.
5. Turn off the mixer.
6. Break two leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of candied fruit.
7. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers, pry it loose with a drewscriver.
8. Sample the whiskey to check for tonsisticity.
9. Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Who cares?
10. Check the whiskey.
11. Now sift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.
12. Add one table. Spoon. Of sugar or something. Whatever you can find.
13. Grease the oven.
14. Turn the cake tin to 350 degrees. Don't forget to beat off the turner.
15. Throw the bowl out of the window, check the whiskey again and go to bed.

Enjoy!

My bottles are suppose to be delivered today, so will be prepping the second liter nic solution for the freezer and mixing some more non flavored for this coming week. Am really enjoying the taste of the non-flavored as well as cutting most of my store bought by half. Could it be my "taster" problem was "flavor overload" or after a couple of yrs. the ol' buds have finally kicked in? :)

Holy Smokes! No pun intended. I have to quit partying with these neighbors. They're all older than I am and I end up the one with one glass too many. And I always forget to eat. I tried to leave twice and the host wouldn't let me.

So we slid over there. When going down our driveway Mike was a few steps behind me and all of a sudden he went flying by me in a trot. LOL. He didn't fall but it was close. Then we hiked up their drive which had a lot of salt on it but was straight up. At the top I stopped to catch my breath, turned around and there was the greatest view of Pikes Peak at dusk. Somebody drove us home. :)

So today I have to go find Costco. Seems I volunteered to host a Christmas Eve party for all the neighbor's and my family that are staying in town. I need to give up wine for Lent or something and never drink it again. If only I were Catholic.

Hahahaha Ms.C...your story cracked me up! Sounds like you had a good time though! :D...Our party we went to didn't turn out so bad either...I didn't know anyone there, and he only knew a few of them, as most of them were very young guys that he never works with, but there was good food and lots of free drinks! So that was a win for me!:p...And he decided to top it off with an eggnog daiquiri for me at home...yum!

Yeah yeah, I know:pervy:...still have one more event to make it through this weekend though...have to head home a day early tonight so me and the boys can go to my dad's Christmas dinner tomorrow...it's mainly the drive I'm not looking forward to with that (4 hours each way), which makes for a very long day and I have to be back at work on Monday...I'll really be dragging then...thank goodness I only have 2 days I have to work next week! ;)
