Hey Dimitri, I have a great idea...what's that Phil? Let's make a MTL tank and an RTA that goes against the sub ohm trend, and let's make it a great big fat ole 24 mm so it only fits on three battery 200 watt devices! That should really be a popular thing right? O K Phil, that sounds about right, we should really piss off everybody with that design! and let's release it on Black Friday so lots of folks will buy it before they realize how silly that is!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Maybe it'll be the next big tank ... That tanks! :nah::evil:

Can't really understand the 24 mm trend for MTL tanks, it is illogical. I got four Berserker and using just one of them, as they only fit mods of Pico25 class.
They should fit the mini mods lite the Target mini, or the Innokin Pebble, since I run it at < 10 W; but no.
And no, they fit well the Coolfire Ultra, the G and Q class, the 213, too... all "monster" mods designed for the opposite purpose of high power.
For some critical (socially speaking) environments I use thin eGo-like devices, where 19 mm is "big".
Is the new MTL just a designer trend, where the cloud chasers are encouraged toward a new and different, but not too different, tank purchase?
Where MTL is just a different way of inhaling, gulping the cloud instead of breathing it in?
For us, tootle puffers, MTL is a system concept, made of small but fast airflow, narrow driptips, high Nic e-liquid, and low power as it was at beginning. And, as still it is now, if you smoke a cigarette. But, my biggest question is: are we talking of the same MTL? I think it is a legitimate question, if I consider the 0.3 Ohm Clapton coil provided with the Berserker.
Something is definitely at odd, what do you think?

If you take vape into your mouth before sucking it into your lungs, you are a MTLer. Everything else is variable. I started using Kayfun lites with a 1.8-2.0 ohm coils but they are way too tight for me now and I am down to .7 ohm coils. That does not change the fact that I am still an MTLer. I think there are a lot of people in between what you think is a MTLer and what I think. That is why most of the new MTL rtas have variable draws. I had been tailoring my draws for over a year to get it to what was right for me. Now I don't have to. I love where this is going. If you want to MTL at .3 ohm, I say go for it.

I also chain vape so almost all of the mods I use are dual battery. Couldn't care less about how many watts they have as I never go above 20 watts. I love the battery life. 24mm rtas work fine for people like me. We are all different. You can't be so narrow in your thinking.

I'm no narrow Ian, I only recognised that there are two different classes of vapers which use the same word for two different scopes.
We old timers do MTL with 18 mg, 8 W, 1.4 mm airflow and 1.5-2 mm I.D., 1.8 ohm coil.
It is MTL as it was at the beginning of Vape, imitating cigarette smoke.
Now, you mention the newer narrow-scoped MTL, where the technical parameters approaches those of DTL vaping, in terms of airflow, coiling and wicking to include medium-high power. The only difference with DTL is the way of inhaling; I am sure you will agree that this newer, single-parameter MTL is the narrow-scoped one.
I do suspect that this more modern MTL way of vaping is born with the intention of using the same 3 mg e-liquid, the same 0.3 ohm - 3 mm I. D. Claptons coils originally intended for cloud chasing. The proposition for this limited MTL, I understand to be, is a lesser clouds presence, aimed to a better socialites.

Ima gonna buy one. In part cause I'm curious and in part to support Phil. 24mm suits me fine.

I much prefer it cause 22mm are stupid looking cause they are so tall. Only 22 mod I even have left is my SX Mini's. Only thing that looks good on them is a SKX K5 Mini. I am gonna get a Siren TDP 22 for that one day.

I used to carry a Provari Radius which was 22mm and a friggin brick. What I carry now are smaller, lighter, 24mm and battery life is charge it on the first of the month whether it needs it or not.

Its gotta be tough for vape manufacturers to keep coming up with new stuff. I like BF RDA's and somehow they keep making things that interest me, be it things I end up hating (I'm looking at you Mesh RDA) or become my new "last RDA ever!!!"

Phil has a video up on his website now explaining what the process was like getting it made and talking about the function and features they felt were important. They wanted to release the drop in coil version first, but it didn't work out that way because they wanted to make some revisions to it. Also sounds like they will be releasing some different sizes and versions later as well.

You have to hang the tank upside down, blow thru the air hole, click your heels 17 times, then cawl me in the morning.
Then you must lock the resistance, go into some software and load some special curves and ramp up values, and also set the limits, spread some magic fairy dust and kiss a toad on the lips three times to avoid any nasty badness LMAO!!!
