The only thing passing a law does is make something illegal, thus, turning, otherwise, law abiding citizens willing to go to extreme lengths, such as stockpiling a lifetime (or 2) supply of something in their freezer, or worse.
Creating black markets is what our system does best, all in the name of protecting the innocent from themselves.

Not all laws. Look at the legalization of that which shall remain unnamed. Once a terrible product corrupting youth, leading to a life of deranged substance abuse, mental illness, and hairloss, but now considered ok for recreational use.

When the majority want something they'll find a way to legalize it. (and tax it). But if it's a small minority (which let's face it we are) we're up the creek without a paddle.

Of course when cigarette use begins to climb as vaping is eliminated, it will be because the evil vape companies hooked a generation on nicotine and now can only legally obtain it through the use of tobacco.

Wait 10 years, and the entire cycle will begin again. vaping will come out from behind closed doors, be embraced as the sword to slay cigarette use, and then some teens will start vaping the next gen Juul and we'll be back here once again, like Groundhog Day.

The whole thing is exhausting.

Voldemort wasn't really popular like that until it became illigal. Same will happen with vaping. US customs isn't all that tight, and fasttech takes Bitcoin.

Yeah, it's just too bad FT has been running into "security issues" mailing out of China. If it makes it to US customs I'm far less concerned. Of course if things ever happen on this end from regulation, small orders knowing a few might be scrutinized and rejected may become something to adjust to. It will be an issue on expensive items you don't want to lose, but I'm sure some supply line will be established to avoid that. Let's face it, if we can't stop billions of dollars of illicit substances entering the US, it's hard to picture vape gear as the primary training for customs pups to go through to root out those evil packages.

That's some expensive flashlight gear ya got there! 200W ya say? Not to mention all the homemade cottage industry that will spring up. I doubt the 510 will even become depreciated.

    Vaping San Francisco

The city of San Francisco has just banned the sale of vaping products. I applaud this action. Recently there was an article opposing the ban because of its perceived negative effects on the African American community. Not vaping can only improve the Black community and any other community for that matter. Today the African-American community has the highest unemployment and poverty rate in the nation. We do not need another vice to add to this problem. What we do need is for African-Americans to commit time and effort to speak standard English which increases textbook learning, earn a college degree, land a good job or start a business. Doped up with vaping will not allow us to achieve these goals.

Stop Sale | E-Liquids Threatened by Surprise Regulation

U.S. e-liquid manufacturers may have to pull millions of bottles of e-juice off of vape stores shelves following a surprise mandate, issued via tweet, by a recently appointed Republican Commissioner of the Consumer Product Safety Commission earlier this year.

The unexpected regulation covers e-liquids containing nicotine that are bottled without special “flow restricted” packaging—both plastic and glass—and comes with an immediate stop sale order that provides U.S. e-liquid manufacturers zero time to bring existing products and production lines into compliance.

Regulators pulled a fast one on us. They are saying all e-liquid must now be sold with "flow restrictor tops", like those tiny needle nosed tips on bottles, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. Its an add on safety measure to child resistant bottles.

Medicine dropper bottles are now banned for e-liquid sale, the way I understand it.

I can't embed the video here, but its in this link: Stop Sale | E-Liquids Threatened by Surprise Regulation
