Trump has a few social media outlets. Twitter of course but I believe Instagram and one other. I don't use any of it so I have no clue about it. Don't think anyone is interested what I had for breakfast or when I took my last dump. But that's just me.

There is always at least one person interested in something.

True, some FB followers believe their friends want to know what and where they are eating for every meal, and are not shy about sharing with a selfie. I've been on FB for six years and never shared such information. Some also share selfy pics on a daily basis with duck face lips. I've rarely shared this mug for anyone.

There is more to social media than these offerings. There are heart warming common interest stories being shared. Comical stories and memes. Plenty of political opinions and fake news, but also Fact Check to test the validity of the stories. IMHO, its better than cable tv which is the alternative entertainment available in my home. 60 channels and none of it worth watching.

My thing besides vaping is following high school girls basketball in my state. Since I retired a few years ago, I needed a hobby and I always enjoyed girls basketball. I easily attended over 75 games last season. I have a large following for my basketball posts on FB. Here's an example:
______________________________

"Hopewell Loudon is my adopted hometown team. Last season I drove over an hour both ways to each home game, often longer for away games, to be able to watch the majority of the games on their schedule.

The Lady Chieftians went 21-4 to the division IV semi-regional last season where they were ousted by eventual state runnerup Ottoville. Hopewell Loudon returns all starters from that team and are making the jump up to division III.

The team is built around 6'4" First Team All State center MaKayla Elmore (2021) and point guard Olivia Zender (2021), and this year adds former Columbian HS transfer All State shooting guard Kaia Woods (2021) to the mix. The Chieftians have a preseason power ranking of #7 in division III in Ohio and have high expectations to make another strong post-season run to the Final Four in Columbus.

* Elmore averaged 21.3 points pg, 12 rebounds pg, 3.7 steals pg, and 2.1 blocked shots pg.
* Woods averaged 17 points pg, 5 rebounds pg, and 4 steals pg.
* Zender averaged 12.4 points pg, 2.7 steals pg, and 2.4 assists pg.

____

On November 18, 5:30 pm, Hopewell hosts a preseason scrimmage with #3 state ranked division II power Bellevue at Hopewell Loudon. Bellevue has a couple All State players of their own.

Bellevue's junior Casey Santoro was selected to the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association All-Ohio first team for a second straight year in Division II.

Santoro, a 5-foot-4 guard and Kent State University commit, led the state-ranked Lady Red to a regional runners-up trophy after falling to state champion Toledo Rogers for a second consecutive season. She averaged 21.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 4.0 steals per game during the regular season for Bellevue, which has won nine straight league championships and five district titles in the past six seasons.

Casey’s younger sister, Cory, is a 5-5 guard and averaged 17 points, three rebounds and 3.3 steals per contest for Bellevue.

I gave it some thought and decided I'm not interested at this time. We might need a poll!:D

While those particular things don't interest me, most things Bronze says do interest me.

No poll needed. No one is interested what Bronze had for breakfast or when he took his last dump.

Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.

Cigarette Smoking Among U.S. Adults Hits All-Time Low | CDC Online Newsroom | CDC

“This marked decline in cigarette smoking is the achievement of a consistent and coordinated effort by the public health community and our many partners,” said CDC Director Robert R. Redfield, M.D."

Why do I get the Feeling that when Redfield say "our many partners" that he is Excluding e-Cigarettes?

And one has to Wonder how much Lower the Smoking Rates would/could have been if the CDC and the "public health community and our many partners" hadn't Wage an All Out War on e-Cigarette use?

That study shows how Americans are self-medicating due to various distresses. Or maybe that the high-costs are such are causing economic distress and lost opportunities, I suppose.

And the inverse will be seen when vaping is regulated out of existence and smoking rates rise. The “obvious “ conclusion will be that vaping was a gateway to cigarettes after all.

Besided, given the hundreds of millions spent on poorly effective ads, media releases, information guided, and 800 numbers staffed to provide support for those seeking to quit, the suggestion that a factor more effective was responsible for the desired outcome of smoking cessation would be unpalatable. Who wants to admit wasting all that money when another solution was more effective?

It’s the War on Drugs all over again. No attempt to understand and focus on the root causes of drug use and fund treatment, instead lots of flashy police actions and even armed forces in other nations waging battles while losing the war. Who wants to stand up and say “sorry about wasting all that time and money, my bad”? Better to keep the war on and passing it in to someone else to state the truth. I mean, with fifty years of it, that’s a lot of lifelong careers that kicked the can along to the next hires (and guaranteed their pensions).

"Big Vape".

Well, I suppose when BT takes it all over.....

Too bad, AHA is so misguided. I mean this grass roots industry has been, from the start, about getting information out there. ECF is proof of that. Nobody considers vaping "safe".

More vapers are making their own juice, but not without risks

“To have people mixing their own e-cigarette liquid is crazy. These are very toxic chemicals,” said Stanton Glantz, a professor of medicine and the director of the Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education at the University of California-San Francisco. “If you drop a little bit of nicotine on your skin, it can send you to the hospital.:vapor:

I've heard that Slantz is afraid to Fill Up his car unless he wears Gloves and Safety Goggles.

And is quoted as saying that... “If you drop a little bit of gasoline on your skin, it can send you to the hospital.
