For some reason, I truly believe that vape will remain available.

In what form remains to be seen. Oh, and whatever is left will be taxed to all hell.

The tax revenue is what will keep vape alive...

75% now in Massachusetts.

Mass needs to just suicide, frankly. I'm not talking the GOOD people of Mass, but like it needs to turn itself in for Egregiousness, and like, all the politicians need to be deported from the US to some backwards African country after being stripped of ALL their assets.

See how they do THEN. Mass can join a cool state, like, IDK ALMOST any other one besides NY or California.

Ballot addendum.;

Actually I lived in Mass for about a year back in Y2k. I rather liked it, you were never far from a good fresh piece of fish. I didnt live there long enough to become interested in the local politics, but I miss the place.

Rumors are a flavor ban is imminent. Paul Blair from ATR has told a few of our people today that it could be coming, from the White House, today or tomorrow. Now is the time to call the White House: 1-202-456-1111 or 1-202-456-1414. Merry Christmas from your US government! Bah Humbug! (I just got off the phone with them).

Oh FFS.

Who would consider Doing a Flavor Ban during the Christmas/New Years Holidays?
Um... skeezy SOBs trying to float unwanted/unneeded legislation through while no one is looking.

Happens all the frickin' time. Just this time, it's something you care about and so you're taking notice.

A special Christmas present. The card reads: Thank you for your sacrifice so that we can boost our poll numbers. Enjoy the short remaining life you have and know we don't care.

I Don't think there is much that Happens at 1600 Pennsylvania ave that is overlooked. It's the Timing (if it Happens) that makes one Scratch their Head.

Why would you Do Anything that is going to Piss Off a Lot of People during the Holidays? Don't you have All year to do that?

And what Possible Political Gain can you get from it?

I just Don't see where doing a Flavor Ban is going to Benefit this president.

About all I could see is that the Flavor Ban (if it happens) was used as a Bargaining Chip.

I was thinking that it is being used for political reasons by all involved. I agree it may be used to gain support for something else.

A Distinct Possibility.

But if it was, I just Can't see Trump doing an announcement before Jan 6th.

NPR had Glantz on yesterday, in a piece they repeated multiple times, about how Tobacco 21 was just a ruse by BT to give something ineffective in exchange for leaving flavors alone, and allowing them to addict the children. Of course, no opposing point of view, and no mention of adult smokers. Just ridiculous, and makes me so angry! Very hard not to throw something at the radio. According to Glantz, BT is trying to addict pre-teens. No evidence given for any of this, just a bunch of hot air.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced it has authorized the marketing of two new tobacco products manufactured by 22nd Century Group Inc. – Moonlight and Moonlight Menthol, which are combusted, filtered cigarettes that contain a reduced amount of nicotine compared to typical commercial cigarettes.

Following a rigorous science-based review of the premarket tobacco product applications (PMTAs) submitted by the company, the agency determined that authorizing these reduced nicotine products for sale in the U.S. is appropriate for the protection of the public health because of, among several key considerations, the potential to reduce nicotine dependence in addicted adult smokers, who may also benefit from decreasing nicotine exposure and cigarette consumption. The agency determined that non-smokers, including youth, are also unlikely to start using the products, and those who experiment are less likely to become addicted than people who experiment with conventional cigarettes.

When in reality ppl are smoking more "light" cigs than regular ones.
More cigs consumed = more taxes. More cigs consumed = more health issues = more insurance money spent.

And most important, don't forget that we need to ban flavored vapes ASAP to save kiddos!

    It's not even funny anymore.
