If someone has that kind of money, or knows someone who does, more power to them. Of course, if the FDA says no, they don't return the money. If it's BT they can still kiss my backside, I wouldn't vape it if it was the last nic on earth.

First one out of the gate gets one less study they have to do I guess? Hard to compare your product to others on the market when there aren't any others on the market! :p
Very true......just another thing that makes these deeming regs not obtainable. The the cost really makes me wonder.....If they are truly doing this for the 'public health' and the 'children' why are they charging fees? And where does the money they collect go? The FDA is a federally funded agency, employees are civil servants both of which are funded by our tax dollars.

Lol whole new kettle of fish there. Just before the FDA was given tobacco to lord over, pharma fees paid approximately 60% of their operating expenses, everything from salaries to utilities. I haven't heard the percentage that tobacco now funds, but it probably equals at least that extra 40%. What they receive from the government is just icing. The FDA quit representing us a long time ago, now they work for who really pays them.

As to why they're making it so hard for vapor to clear all the hurdles? Theory has it their still ...... about the 2009 court case they lost. Read further back into today's posts and you'll see one from someone who's husband works in OTC meds but has also worked in prescription medication. He says all the testing is more akin to that of pharma clearance, what the FDA tried to shoehorn vaping into before the Judge slapped them down.

I seriously doubt China will take this on. If orders get to be too few, which is also doubtful given the number of people that will be willing to risk a confiscated package for what they contain, they'll find something else to manufacture and/or copy and reconfigure the factory without missing a beat.

Most likely it will be shipped to another country and carried over the border.

this takes place in a few years maybe if the republicans win a supermajority they will get rid of the fda and a bunch of other govt regulatory depts. which would scrap these rules. small govt is their motto.

I'm not buying ANYBODIES party line BS

FDA PMTA an SE procedures include a 'meeting'. Always a 'meeting'

After having read that Mrs. Hamburg of the FDA appears deeply entangled in some very nasty business, I wonder what these 'meetings' are agoing to be about.

Follow the $$$

Perhaps a closer look at some of the money trails , at some of the financial activities of some individuals could be enlightening...

It is what they say, however it is not what either party DOES.

Ecigs seem to be considered illegal in Mexico.

Tunnels were dug northward to funnel in stuff that's currently illegal on both sides of the fence.
Didn't impress them much.

With a new product line about to get handed to them by the FDA - they'll just dig faster :D

The money goes to independent labs, labor for scientists and lab techs, and other people who will study, test, and then report on the products' construction, constituent components, ingredients, safety, etc. The money does not go to the FDA.
