Progress on Tobacco Product Application Review and Related Enforcement

"In addition to the applications on which we’ve already taken actions, FDA continues review on thousands of applications for tobacco products across all product classifications. FDA intends to continue to devote significant resources to responding to the remaining pending applications expeditiously and will issue our decisions on a rolling basis."

"FDA regulates the manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of tobacco products to protect public health. Premarket review of new tobacco products before they can be legally marketed is one of the most important responsibilities of the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products (CTP). We will continue to assess whether applicants meet the applicable statutory standard to market their new products."

Why do they keep saying tobacco...

It's like talking about electric vehicles, and the guvment continuing to call them gas powered "products across all product classifications."

For anyone following the "FDA Follies", this is a good link: VapePMTA.com

So far, what I see on the horizon is lawsuits, lawsuits, and more lawsuits.

What I don't see are any "denied" from Aspire, Beard, Triton, Halo, JUUL, etc.

    Getcha ya popcorn. :pop:

I dunno...I wouldn't dump my money into a court case at this point cause I don't think it would win.
I dont disagree, but think of all of the Fed money that will get spent on defending the Deeming.

    I agree.

About the Only thing (to Me) that would Make Sense is more of a Class Action type suit where all the Retail/OEM Losers chip in for the Greater Good.

Makes sense. A lot of the "Mom & Pop's" lost their businesses for no good reason.

However this plays out, I don't see this industry going away quietly.

One thing I learned while working closely with the attorney general's office was that government agencies don't give a fig about lawsuits. After all, it isn't their personal money at stake, taxpayers foot the bill.
