A person dies every 15 minutes from opiod overdose. It has quickly become the single most deadly man made cause of death in the US.

80% of all opiod prescribed medication exits in the United States.

All federally regulated by the FDA.

All in the best interest of public health.

So let's ban vapig.

And check the toxicity of acetaminophen. Recommended dosage:poison ratio is simply absurd. There's no way that stuff should be on the market.

FDA approved.

If anyone finds a concise video about the deeming regs that doesn't open with a bearded guy in a baseball cap, someone saying the equivalent of "Yo vapers!" or someone taking a big hit off of a mod, please let me know. There seems to be very few and I would like to send videos to my non-vaping friends.
Ruby Roo has one, but not watched it.
I know what you mean on the beards, tatoos and baseball caps or hoodies/boggins.

Ruby's was excellent. One of the better (simplified) summaries I've seen so far (imo).

Just heard an interview with Dr Gary Smith on the BBC about the poisons call centre study. He was saying it was an epidemic, implied that all of the ~4000 kids exposed to Nic became seriously ill, and mentioned the one child who died during the study (which was conducted over 40 months).

He said the FDA hadn't gone far enough, he wants to make eliquid harder to buy and ban flavourings in eliquid ect ect.

It was so overtly "won't someone think of the children!!??".

It made me a bit angry that he made very pointed comments about how lethal eliquid is and brought up the one paediatric death (although I understand no calls were placed to the poisons advice line regarding that incident, so it shouldn't have been included in that particular study), but there was no mention of the ~one million smoking related deaths in the US over the same 40 month period.

The ever curious balances of nature continue to confuse us, yet remain essential to keeping our planet on its correct orbit & axis.

Where there is a Peart there must also be a Bieber. I believe that can actually be found in the depths of Einstein's equations.

No light without darkness.
No good without evil.
No Peart without Bieber.

Got it. :thumb::D

I got it too. The voice of the walking dead.
They up sticks and moved not so long ago, and even then it seemed like a pointless exercise.

I don't use MB, but there's a few US brands I do like, so am wondering if they'll begin doing concentrates.

At least they're honest.

Rocks, and Trees, and Water! I've fished the Canadian wilderness a lot. They have the Canadian Shield up there. It's a gigantic exposed rock (see map). Somehow, trees grow in that thing (from lichen). But it is also perfect for creating thousands and thousands of lakes (which is why the fishing is so good). Take a look at a detailed map of Ontario sometime. It's as much water as it is land. Makes Minnesota look like it's in a drought.

What is happening to the vape industry reminded me of when the FDA banned L-Tryptophan in 1989. Did a little research and came across this article.

The FDA Ban of L-Tryptophan: Politics, Profits and Prozac By: Dean Wolfe Manders, Ph.D.

The most telling statement in the article is,

"At bottom, the FDA public ban of safe, non-contaminated L-Tryptophan is uneven, expensive, and biased in favor of the pharmaceutical industry. The FDA proscription effectively awards billions of dollars in profits to pharmaceutical companies and their suppliers in the same proportion as it adds billions of unnecessary dollars to the nation's already bloated health care expenditures."
