Thank you. Sometimes I think one of the difficulties we have conveying our message is that our own language is so colloquial and cliquish, half of us don't understand it ourselves.
Yeah, explaining this all to non vapers, eyes start glassing over.

We're talking about the Cole/Bishop amendment to the Appropriations Bill, here:

Keller Heckman | The Cole-Bishop Amendment to the Agricultural Appropriations Bill Amending the Grandfather Date for "Deemed" Tobacco Products Passes House Committee - What Next?

No mention of flavors, which Katya, Lessifer and I have said; although the video mentioned, implies that there is flavors mentioned in the amendment - although there is no mention. Some of the people commenting on the amendment did mention flavors in various ways but that is no part of the amendment, as anyone can see if they click on the link above.

What you cited is the Deeming, which of course mentions flavors. And there nothing vague about it - they will be banned if introduced as having anything to do with ecigarettes.
Remember, they're not banning anything. They can apply for marketing approval. Flavors simply won't be approved.

None of those power tools or laptops have consumer replaceable individual cells though.

Flashlights are about it for consumer replaceable cells.
And those tend to use lower CDR / Higher MAH cells than is used in vaping.
Of course there are likely some rad flashlights out there which will burn the paint off your truck if shined on it.

But there must be other uses. I mean, were 18350 and 18490 batteries invented just for vaping?

The FDA is going to dig the hole deep ... the fight for the right, to bring back these life saving devices is going to be fierce.

It's already been 10 years for Vaping ... millions of lives have improved ... Doctors are noticing.

They really are about 8 years too late on this ... too bad for them.

I am curious as to Provape's plans, I didn't see anything on their thread but might have missed it. Seems they would have more money and clout to fight with. I hope it is okay to ask this.

I imagine ProVape's lawyers are going over everything in the regs with a fine tooth comb. If they dropped their juice line that would only leave the battery devices to worry about (they don't manufacture the tanks and such they sell). Technically, with the right tank, a ProVari is dual use.

That is why they are pretty much going to make it to where no one can talk about the reduced risks of vaping vs smoking...

Have you had horses? Mine often ran into each other. And into me if they weren't paying attention. One time I was bending down fixing the corner of a corral while my mare was galloping around playing with the dog. She was looking to the right at him and clipped me with her left shoulder. I ended up face down in the dirt. She was very upset, but luckily I wasn't hurt.
Don't know if you're a fan of Bob's Burgers, but if you are you must have loved tonight's episode:D

Oops! Sorry! I've been reading the posts, but not all the links. I'll be quiet now.

Got me? I suspect there are other uses but I have never seen any.

So which came first, the mod or the battery?

I don't know what that is. I haven't had a TV for about 13 years.
I bought a big flatscreen about 5 years ago. Have not watched 10 hours on it in the last year or so.
Nice picture just not much on it worth watching.
Saw a TV on in a waiting area recently.
After a bit I wondered if it had always been that stupid?
Most commercials seem to be geared towards idiots.
