Just shows how effective disinformation campaigns really are...they've played this game before, they are really good at it.
They're masters at it, dis/mis information runs rampant.
For one the neurolinguistics of the title..
That might read "Do you think ecigs are LESS harmful than tobacco?"
But right off it's negative and associated with "smoke"

Thanks for this - I didn't realize they were filing lawsuits.
It's a good listen. Azim knows what he is talking about, and he also breaks down the practical implications of these regs pretty well. Listening to it again !

Good Question!
Is the Petition posted on those other Big Forums?
If so, are those post being maintained for attention?
Several of us have linked it on FB, but that place is like a jungle to our ant sized pages.

ECF is my landing page :)
It has been posted to the other forums and reddit, but I don't think there's anyone actively bumping there like the awesome group have been doing here. It's tough. The advocates have been actively saying petitions are worthless, and telling people not to sign them for about a year now.

They don't seem to realize that there can be more to a petition than just the petition and the signatures it gathers. For instance, I've been using it to send out updates periodically, whenever there's a national CTA, or if I find a bit of news that I think people should see, and each time I do there is a small bump in signatures so at least some people actually read them. Of course, now the advocacy groups are asking people to sign a petition: Fight the FDA Now » Larry W Faircloth; West Virginia and people aren't doing it.

Luckily, I'm stubborn, and I think there are more angles that we can use, and I see benefit in exploring all of them.

Still listening..as Big Pharma got brought in to the discussion in reference to Chantix and such, cancer was mentioned by the interviewer.
My ex worked at a local cancer research facility and she swears the 12 Billion dollar cancer research and treatment industry has no interest in finding cures.
Big pharma is $$$ important to the FDA...

These Here United States
Anybody doubt this is all a conspiracy?

I was around when some people thought shaking hands with a person with HIV/AIDS would transmit the virus.

Dame Turia seems equally misinformed and not at all ashamed of her ignorance.

Well, the righting on the wall is of plan english, unfortunately lobbyist don't care about facts ....................
True enough. Few in the gub'min bureaucracy give a darn.
But like you say, the writing is on the wall
in more than one way. People in general are getting ticked off.
The blatancy of the attack on common sense is too overwhelming to ignore now.

Yea, I remember those days...and somebody freaking out when they saw me
sharing a smoke with a known HIV positive friend.

Conspiracy?
How many deaths, let alone ner death, not to mention life altering encounters in a matter of months from chantix ?, yet every DR in US still pushes it and advertised nationally through the media as a "safe" alternative ?

What I cannot for the life of me understand, is How those that Are in position to be aware of these important matters - Choose to, Yes CHOOSE to ignore them like someone else will come along and fix everything for them.

HEY FOLKS, We are running out of Someone Else's:glare:

Read the suit again. See down at the remedy section.
The court is under no obligation to consider a lawsuit other than to consider it
worthy of adjudication. If it is considered worthy then the defendant's
offending action which caused the dispute suit will be held back
and the injunction asked for in the remedy section
will be temporarily granted as per the request in the remedy sought section.

Since the all of the items contested and petitioned for in said lawsuit
seem worthy of legal consideration and not frivolous
imho the lawsuit will be considered worthy and said injunction issued temporarily.

Read it again, look at who is representing Nicopure...those guys don't mess around.
What is happening is that they're buying time...
You are reading what is called the "prayer." It is standard boilerplate in all of these cases. I'm sorry, but I must say you are opining about a process you do not understand. This case may well survive the FDA's initial motion to dismiss (the most likely first defensive move), but that by no means assures a preliminary injunction or any other affirmative relief. And then there will be several rounds of procedural maneuvers, perhaps including a move to have the case coordinated with other cases under the multi-district litigation process. And so on. And so on.

If you insist. I'll put my CPS badge away for you. You're correct. The "prayer"
assures nothing.
An injunction might not be a good thing anyway.

You might have stated your authority to begin with.
A semi retired lawyer, even from Missouri beats a certified process server hands down.
But if you knew then your whole convo seems an entrapment to show me how bad you are.
You're bad.

I'm having a very hard time figuring what rationale they used to
classify as a tobacco product. Nicotine is not necessarily derived from tobacco.

How different are the affects of "pure" nicotine in small doses,
from caffeine / monster drink / red bull / espresso ?

At this point I wouldn't assume anything. There are several balls up in the air
and we should see where at least one of those lands by tomorrow afternoon.
All of Nicopure's claim seem legit to me..the question is will they seem legit to a corrupt justice system..?
There are some bad judges, but most judge try their best to do the right thing and the entire judiciary is not corrupt. I know everyone is fed up, but please try not to overdo it.
