Perhaps we could use a light "entertainment" break. This is an old video, but I doubt much has changed except the machinery.
While it's repeatedly stated that no additional nicotine is added, other additives (when identified) pass by quickly. And I'm curious about the chemicals used in the different steps to prepare the components, like the sheets.
To take this question a little further.... Are the China made products (juices, devices, etc) that were available back in 2007 even ALLOWED to be grandfathered under these deeming regs? I mean they arent USA products. They could all be banned outright under these new regs even if existing before the deemed date as foreign and ineligable. Someone tell me Im wrong and why.
I'm sorry if someone already posted this I didn't read every page but what is the FDA gona do about actual enforcement of this?Theres no way they have the manpower to send all kinds of people store to store seeing who is in compliance.Plus they have other duties so they cant put 100% of staff on vaping. This just doesn't seem thought out very well
The BATFE has plenty of jack-booted thugs. They will handle enforcement.
After reading some other responses, you're probably right. But heck, when did that ever stop the Chinese? If this goes through, I guarantee the Shanghai index will explode in the food flavoring and perfume essence industries. To take this question a little further.... It's gotten to the point where whenever someone even remotely connected to the government says they care about me I get paranoid.
Doesn't matter who made them. What matters is if they Were existing Market or TEST Market.![]()
Good article. It's a guest editorial in USA Today. ANTZ will point to the disclosure at the bottom of the page, and say COI bias. The media anger is hitting the news media outlets. More of this type of editorial will help in swaying opinion in our favor.
FDA went way too far on e-cigarettes: Opposing view
Agreed. I don't want to be cared about, I want to be left to my own devices (ba-dum-dump). I get even more paranoid when they start talking about how something is 'for the children'- that's when you know it's about to get rough.
Unsubscribing from this thread, it's just turning into partisan party bashing.
People may hate a particular party for whatever reason, but I'm pretty sure BOTH political parties know how to cash a check from Philip Morris.
I'm against bashing. I'm not sure which way I'll vote, but I'm keeping my eye on whoever is running fastest to Protect the Children.
Guys, get over there and vote thumbs down on this editorial. We've got to get editors' heads out of their you-know-whats'.Good article. It's a guest editorial in USA Today. ANTZ will point to the disclosure at the bottom of the page, and say COI bias.
Here's USA Today's editorial staff's opinion:

I agree. Both parties are susceptible to corporate money. In regards to vaping, we need to cheer the Republicans who are sponsoring the House Bill - and the few Democrats in that same camp. That's not party bashing, that's just stating who is standing behind the bill that could bring the date forward to 2016. It still stomps on innovation, from 2016 on, but it keeps vaping alive for those who deserve to stay alive.I'm against bashing. Who would have guessed that the FDA has their very own enforcement arm ?
