There is a giant demographic in the wilderness who simply accept whatever is thrown at them. They are not interested in making change. They simply accept what is and what will be.

All great movements require great leaders to inspire passion for the cause and motivate people to concerted action. That person has yet to emerge.Heck just go to any vape expo/convention type gathering where the enthusiast in-the-know hobbiest type vapers attend, at most of the ones across the US over the last year (+) advocates were invited to attend and give information to the attendees and the majority of those attendees could not be bothered to go, listen and become informed by them, too busy getting free juice I guess. I know at one convention the advocates were replaced with a cloud contest because events were running a bit behind schedule... soooo there you go.
Yep I know what you mean. I've had people ask me if I'd build for them or if they can get nic from me. Nope, unless you have extenuating circumstances like a physical disability, etc I have zero sympathy. It's like the fable of The Grasshopper and the Ant.Not to be a debbie downer but I have talked to countless people online, social media and locals, many I helped start vaping. Even family members and friends and they won't get involved. I hear things like, "well, I better go to my local B&M and buy a bunch of liquid, can you make me some if I need it?" Some tell me they will just stop vaping if it comes to no availability. So I dunno what the answer is but I am getting disheartened by it all.
Have to agree with this post. Its like passing the man on the street corner every morning and he has a tip cup asking for change. You could put a few dollars in the cup....but what are you really teaching him? You are teaching him to stand on that corner every morning and waiting for you to come by. Or you could show him how to be the one walking past that street corner.Yep I know what you mean. I've had people ask me if I'd build for them or if they can get nic from me. The ones who are really affected are ones who won't build for themselves and depend on B&M's to build for them. On the 8th this stops immediately. I scratch my head every time I'm in a B&M and see this, especially people with Mech's, SERIOUSLY? Unless someone has a physical disability they're just being incredibly lazy and come August 8th they're in for a rude awakening.

Well put, I have no problem teaching someone and passing on what I know for that's how everyone benefits. But I'm not going to do it for them.Have to agree with this post. Yes the underground will survive and prosper, government is actually shooting themselves in the foot. Not only the lost revenue from sales tax to businesses and employee taxes to the huge amount of money in health care.I've been vaping since 2009, back then you kinda had to DIY almost everything. I make my own juice, and can rig up a box mod myself. I am not scared.
Our community is ingenious, I have been so impressed with everybody, I watched this entire community INVENT itself. it's been so cool to watch this movement grow up.
Let the FDA try to ban Vaping... it's so silly of them. We are going to blow clouds in their fat beurocrat faces.. Who gives a ....? [edited]
WE WON!!! We stuck it to tobacco so hard they had to go crying to Daddy!!!!
I would rather be underground than just be buying into some new corporate industry... Keep Vape underground. Let them try to stop my from heating a coil.
Yeah a lot of us feel the same way. And we did win a couple of battles, but the war is still waging on.I've been vaping since 2009, back then you kinda had to DIY almost everything. I make my own juice, and can rig up a box mod myself. I am not scared.

The entire Vape industry basically spawned on forums like this one, and, after these regulations... there will be forums on how we can get around these regulations.
I would rather be underground than just be buying into some new corporate industry anyways. Keep Vape underground. Let them try to stop my from heating up a piece of wire!
Need to edit your post a bit.... Rules are rules...
My last post was in 2010...i took out the S word. If it's the W word... There has to be some contextual allowance... Maybe not...
Thanks though.
Yep, I would much rather go "informal" than return to smoking. The cabal that's pushing us into our shelters knows darn well they can't stop us from heating pieces of wire. But those of us willing and able to dig shelters are a small fraction of the vaping population. What will happen to the majority of current vapers who are either oblivious to the politics, or who've stuck their heads in the sand? What will happen to those who are still smokers, who would have switched at some point if vaping had been left alone?I would rather be underground than just be buying into some new corporate industry anyways. Keep Vape underground. Let them try to stop me from heating up a piece of wire.

Yep, he sure did. One of just a few GOPers who caved into the lies.Ah, not wanting to bring politics into this too much, but appears the GOP likely candidate (no names, not political is still ok?) has likely chosen as his likely VP nominee of that party, the Governor of IN (no names, I'm still good, right?). That's the guy who signed one of the worst State laws crushing vaping and vape shops in that State. I know, he didn't create the bill, and it was the State Assembly guys who gave the business to their friend, but he signed it into law. Nuff said.
