I thought the Deeming regs were supposed to be repealed by now?
Isn't that what we were told on another thread?

Maybe they are, but the blackout on agency communications is preventing them from telling us?I thought the Deeming regs were supposed to be repealed by now?

I'll hold off my celebration for something in writing that spells out exactly how vapor products will be handled.
That's got to be it.Maybe they are, but the blackout on agency communications is preventing them from telling us?
I wont be celebrating anything until the regs are upended. But I will be paying attention to anything said or done that moves in the right direction.I'll hold off my celebration for something in writing that spells out exactly how vapor products will be handled.

So... I have a question. With this new "one step forward, two steps back" policy, would the deeming regulations be considered one regulation? Or, is it an amendment to the FSPTCA? Would we only get a repeal if the FDA wants to issue another regulation? That would be a Good Idea.
And I think we will have to wait for a New FDA Commissionaire for something like that to Happen.
Barring a Very Favorable Court Ruling that is.

"Simple" policies always sound good, but the devil is in the details, and I don't see any details...

We've got some good news from Indiana at least!!
They can treat it as a single regulation. Then all they have to do is toss the two regulations, one banning cyanide, and the other strychnine from baby food, which would also eliminate the whole "what about the children?" stuff.
Eskie it's all in the document in the link.
