Pretty sure that 18 is aimed at vendors and manufacturers not being able to make that claim. Still, that is forbidding them to speak the truth since they create vapor and not smoke. Seems to me that is against the right of free speech right there.

Smoke Free Alternative Trade Association ( close anyway)

See the first post in this thread. They were the first ones to announce that the regs would be announced on Thursday.

Thanks Salem, sorry in my late replies but it's been a busy day watching the Red Sox, vaping away and trying not to go postal on the FDA. Even though I figured it was coming I had hoped for a little more time. I live on a very low fixed income ($733/mo) and it's been a struggle to just maintain let alone get ahead. Trying to stockpile for me will be impossible in 90 days.

Even though my mindset is more towards a survivalist I'm hoping all the optimistic people here are right. My daughter and her BF now vape and both feel so much better for it. I told them about this forum and the new FDA BS and she is going to do everything she can to support us. She has a whole crew on facebook ready to do everything they can as well, many are non-vapers but are strong individual freedoms advocates.

Welllll...it was TEN MILLION POUNDS of fish. lol

Are they gonna put a guy on that list for selling a few metal boxes with buttons and a display? Right there with the real criminals - like this "fake colgate guy" (who I am pretty sure asked me if I wanted to help get his money out of the county),

WANTED

In another thread, we've decided that this

is a "heated soap dispenser".

They could wind up on the OCI most wanted list. Criminal Investigations

This is guy's on it for freaking fish!

I don't see nicotine called out - it's already regulated, so what is different?
They have to make sure not to specifically market it "for vaping". But it's an excellent pesticide...
Or maybe I want to bathe in it. Not their concern.
Unless I missed something...I don't know if DIY Nic is threatened or not - but just in case, it's a good thing most people can fit a lifetime supply in their freezer...

A) Manufactures will be forced to insure there customers are 18, no more new products including firmware upgrades.
B) Nicotine will be regulated so no more nicotine.
C) Tons of fines and jail time. China will laugh at the FDA and Fasttech will sell thousands of mods called "flashlights." Hell China has been prepping for this, their nicotine is already marked as "vegetable glycerin" to trick customs.

Unless you have public statements from said candidates that they do indeed support our cause I wouldnt personally back them on an "if" or "maybe".
That shouldn't be difficult at all. Let me do some whispering in some ears.

I'll be selling "not for human consumption" aroma therapy liquid in two years... I'm going to have 14 gallons worth of 100 mg in a freezer in two years.

I am 64 years young, worked 37 years and am currently/finally retired. Five herniated discs, so not in the best of health, but many more people have it much worse. Smoked unfiltereds for 45 years, towards the end of that madness hacked and coughed so badly I couldn't at times see straight, literally. Three years ago this April picked up a vape on a whim at a checkout counter and have never had another cig since that afternoon. I can breathe again now, no cough at all, more energy, etc., you all know the experience. To have my government, that I fund through property and pension payments tell me that I'm in the wrong, don't know what I'm doing and won't be allowed to do so anymore, is just beyond outrageous. I believe the deeming regulations have done more to raise my blood pressure than cigarettes ever did! I've always understood that the prime purpose of the government was to protect it's citizenry, NOT to dictate what they can and cannot do with their personal lives. Sadly we live in a different land now...

FDA approved for now, they could change that at any time. It's not used as a pesticide any longer I believe. I hope your' right. I'll be stockpiling when we get all the details from the CASAA.

Libertarians HATE the federal government, we don't believe in ANY federal regulation.
I understand that. I have a minor degree in Sociology. Lib or not, a politician is a politician. I cant vote for a candidate that doesnt say publicly how they stand on an issue before I cast my vote. I dont expect anyone would unless they were already a Lib. But this isnt the place for politics.

"This deeming rule will not require foreign manufacturing establishments to register their establishments or to list their tobacco products in order to sell them in the United States. However, foreign manufacturing establishments will be required to comply with the registration and listing requirements of section 905 of the FD&C Act after a registration and listing rule is final and effective."

I have trouble resisting countering encouragement for Trump. Dump the Trump promotion, and I'll shut up.

I never once have said I supported Trump and have never once even hinted at it. That man is a tool. You must have me mistaken for someone else.

A.k.a. Im a republican, not a ...... I am educated on all thing politics and can make up my own mind. I have never voted a straight ticket in my life if that says more. Dont assume all of us support that fool. We dont.

Re: the PMTA path to market.
In 2015, the FDA approved 8 products. 8. Eight. All year. Heck, that might be "ever". I'm not sure. All of them were fpr Snus.

They did more in Substantial Equivalent - which is only good for products no one wants anymore - issuing 460 orders, while a few more than that (473) gave up and withdrew, 114 were denied, and 16 actually got smacked in the face (refuse to file). Those 460 include various brands of cigarettes, rolling papers, and tobacco, going through lengthy applications and begging for the FDA to acknowledge that yes - a cigarette is basically a cigarette and can therefore be sold, because cigarettes are OK to sell because....well I don't really understand that part.
