I don't see nicotine called out - it's already regulated, so what is different?
They have to make sure not to specifically market it "for vaping". But it's an excellent pesticide...
Or maybe I want to bathe in it. Not their concern.
Unless I missed something...I don't know if DIY Nic is threatened or not - but just in case, it's a good thing most people can fit a lifetime supply in their freezer...

I wouldn't be surprised if the FDA will eventually require a permit (along with applicable fees, licenses, etc.) to purchase nic...:grr:

What about BT buying them out? BT can't be deaf to the criticism of cigalikes, so it might be in their interest to market at least one AVP.

On the other hand, in one of the hundreds of articles I've read in the last few days (which, of course, I can't find now), there was a conjecture that since ecigs, compared to cigarettes, are such a small part of BT sales, they might not be motivated to bring any ecigs to market, especially if the FDA successfully wipes out the competition.

This is a little O/T and preaching to the choir, but if someone feels the need for a break from the thread it is worth watching. I believe Oliver is in one of the episodes.

This is a really great doc, thanks. Only slightly off topic. I'm just starting Ep 2 here and it appears to at least touch on vaping. If nothing else, this is a great reminder at the history of the tobacco industry, and just how far they're willing to go. Know thy enemy.

And update, the first 20 minutes is all about vaping. Pretty interesting to see the pros and cons from an outside view...

Sorry, I didn't mean you. I meant those who are promoting him here.
I personally wasn't intentionally promoting him, I was agreeing with someone that
I found him the best candidate to help this cause. That's my opinion. I also
posted that I've been tweeting to him and Dr. Carson, to Corey and some others
in the Trump camp to find out his vaping position. Others may not agree, I get that
and I'm cool with it.
As for libertarians - I lived in New Mexico for years when Gary Johnson was Governor,
and he is well liked and respected there. Definitely he's an option in the election if
he's on the ballot. He was an awesome Governor.

Yeah - that actually would have made a little bit of sense...
I mean, I can at least UNDERSTAND someone thinking that juice/nic should be REGULATED - as it
a) need a license to handle cuz it's a drug
and
b) maybe something akin to restaurant health certification to run a juice lab

I mean, I'd still be stocking up on my DIY supplies, but at least the FDA wouldn't be obviously putting an insane agenda ahead of MILLIONS OF LIVES like they are doing with these regs.

I wouldn't be surprised if the FDA will eventually require a permit (along with applicable fees, licenses, etc.) to purchase nic...:grr:

There's this...FDA does "inspect" thousands of cig retailers, and when they catch them violating regs, they get this
This may well be what's in store for vape shops in 2018...
Same penalty for selling an un-approved mod or juice as there would be for selling cigs to a minor...

Sorry my bad but TL;DR....will this also affect the likes of Capella et al for diy stuff?
No. They'll still be available, but technically, you'd be breaking the rules if you use it for vaping, on account of the "intended use" issue that's part of the deeming.
