Ding - Ding - Ding

I think we have a Winner.

LOL
Lol, that was some cutting edge analysis !

But seriously, the Repubs are making the same mistake Dems have made ; focusing on the wrong issues. Instead of focusing on " voter fraud ", a nonsense issue imo, they could slightly adjust their position on some social issues and climate science, and attract a lot of millennials, and set themselves up for the next few decades. But that's a discussion for another thread and another forum :)

...
Scenario 2-

-There are more American citizens in the state of California who vote Democratic than they do Republican.

...

BTW - Interesting (questionable I know) Side-Note.

I voted for Sanchez in the 2016 CA Senate Race.

Not Because I particularly liked Sanchez. Or because I am a Registered Democrat. I'm not, I'm a Registered Republican. I voted for Sanchez because She was More Moderate than Kamala Harris.

And due to the Unique Primary system that California has, it was a 1 Party Race between Sanchez and Harris.

I think BOTH Parties right now are pretty much Wacked.

I'm not sure How Much the Majority of the Republican Party is really focused on Voter Fraud? I know 1 Individual who say's they are a Republican who seems to be Abnormally Focused (as well as a Host of other things) on it. But he seems to be Stuck in Campaigning Mode.

And Hasn't be able (or is Not Able) to make the Switch to Governing Mode.

But yeah... You are Right. This is probably better suited in another thread.

- AB60 was in effect in 2012 ( note, it wasn't ! ), the last time Feinstein ran,

My earlier post above was about who was up for re-election in 2018. (and pointing out to DC2 who was missing and had retired) And I actually read and understood the links I posted, so I knew when AB60 was in effect.

Every single one of those illegals ( including infants and children ), somehow ended up on the voting roll, and
- Every single one of them ( including infants and children )voted for Feinstein

Again, I did read the links I posted and it showed how many illegals at what ages, so the 3 mil. number was just a beginning context for what could happen in 2018. And it may be more by 2018.

I was hoping to keep this 'party neutral' but it's always a task when you enter into a thread. My original post was about who signed the anti-vape letters. If there were a Republican who did, their name would be there as well.

Two words : Self Awareness.

I have been away from this thread and the " News and Campaigning " sub-forum precisely because it has become so politicized ( and i don't just mean vaping politicized either), and boring and repetitive. This is the first time i posted in this thread in months, and yeah thank god this thread is not politicized. lol.

But yeah, i will leave, and you can go on with your non-politicized discussions. A couple of Ayn Rand quotes might be a good segue !

First the politicization, then the ad hominem.

The problem with this is that they want to educate kids about the dangers of smoking (which is pretty much ok) and the dangers of vaping. That's going to raise the issue in the ANTZ crowd that if it's dangerous for kids, it's dangerous to everyone.

If the campaign was "don't smoke and vape, but if you do smoke try vaping instead" it might be ok. But in reading that press release that's not going to happen.

All things we've been badgering folk about on ECF for years.
The problem is that maybe only 1 in 200 purchasers ever come to a site like this, and obviously the Retail Establishments dont do an effective job of communicating battery safety or we wouldnt see so many pockets on fire. I am not dissing all shops, some do a great job, but the proof is in the pudding, the average ecig user doesnt have sufficient knowledge.

But it is also our litigious society at fault. Legal departments put so many warning labels on everything that people have become immune/complacent to warning labels. So that little warning label on the battery just gets peeled off and thrown away without ever being read.

I also enjoy the "it is illegal to remove this tag" on mattresses and pillows. :) It took me a while to figure out that this was for manufacturers/sellers, not buyers, and it is O.K. to remove such tags once purchased.

Don't judge me. My family didn't understand that mattresses have shelf lives and the first day I slept on a "real" mattress was one of the best days of my life....

Don't worry, regulatory agencies will surely step in and keep us all from doing stupid things. o_O

My in-laws were like that. I used to dread the obligatory Thanksgiving or Christmas visits to their place 400 miles away. The thing in their spare bedroom that may have been a mattress in the 1960s was just one of the reasons I never much enjoyed visiting them. Having to go outside (in Cleveland winters) to smoke was another.

My mom bought a new house once, and decided to buy all the furniture. She kept the original mattress in the master bedroom and took it WITH her to *two* new houses....

I used to sleep on the couch/air mattress when I was housesitting, man.... There wasn't a decent mattress in the house and GROSS.

LOL, maybe we need more regulations about mattresses, not e-cigs. Maybe they need to come with a self-destruct sequence after a certain number of years... Because I told her A LOT that she deserved a new mattress, over and over and over.....

My dad's parents were refugees though, from WW2, and my mother grew up in Broken Hill (tiny mining town in Aus), they were all more worried about eating all the brown bananas before they wasted food than worrying about mattresses, I *guess*. Old habits die hard. She's turning 70 this year, I might buy her a replacement mattress for her birthday, that's a gift she'd have a hard time turning down....

You know what, I am going to do it!!! :)
