I saw the post on FaceBook, but I can't find it now. I haven't been saving ALL of them to my timeline.

That article is such trash. juul and their 5% pods really aren't all that satisfying or addicting. I have a Juul I use at work, when I was allowed to vape in the office I was hitting it all day long. Not once did I leave the office and think "Oh I need to hit my Juul." Nope, it was right back to the 6mg juice and big clouds and they were far more satisfying than a Juul ever was. Not once in those 3-4 months did I start craving a Juul over 6mg juice.
Yep, amount of vapor a device produces makes a huge difference, and a Juul doesn't produce much.

I don't do big clouds at all; most people around here would consider me a tootle puffer. I tried a Juul back when they were new to the market in the summer of 2015, my reactions was: More than adequate nic, but too little vapor. I kept it as a handy backup device for quite a while, but never really used much.

Well, I googled it and people are out protesting at the Capitol about Trump's flavor ban, but that seems to be it.
Texas vaping advocates protest at state Capitol in response to call for ban
Since I can't find it, I'll edit my previous post and remove Texas. Wouldn't want to contribute to fake news.

If you mean this one, that's not me. I'm more handsome than that. ;)

A woman from New York was driving through a remote part of Arizona when her car broke down. An American Indian on horseback came along and offered her a ride to a nearby town.

She climbed up behind him on the horse and they rode off. The ride was uneventful, except that every few minutes the Indian would let out a Ye-e-e-e-h-a-a-a-a!' so loud that it echoed from the surrounding hills and canyon walls.

When they arrived in town, he let her off at the local service station, yelled one final 'Ye-e-e-e-h-a-a-a-a!' and rode off.

"What did you do to get that Indian so excited?" asked the service-station attendant. "Nothing," the woman answered "I merely sat behind him on the horse, put my arms around his waist, and held onto the saddle horn so I wouldn't fall off."

"Lady," the attendant said, "Indians don't use saddles."

That would fit nicely into the theory that Juul will be the only one left standing, because it's closed pod. I'm not forgetting the article where it said 3 of Trump's staff had left and are now working for Juul.
The notion that Juul would be one of the only ones left on the (legal) market after the PMTA deadline has been around for quite some time; well before the current fracas.

"Bi-Partisan" is a Funny term.

Exactly How Many Senators on the Left and How Many on the Right Support the FDA doing what Most Agree the FDA does Not have the Power to do?
Oh come now, if you have at least one Senator from each party pushing something, it's "bi-partisan" these days. :sneaky:

Yeah, I know, Rossum, but the stage appears to be being set for that to come to fruition.

I... am Actually Surprised that Newsom has taken the approach that he has. Almost shows some Legal Restraint.

Newsom said he personally wants to ban the sale of flavored e-cigarettes, but that California laws and regulations prevent his ability to do so without legislative action.

“It appears a governor alone is not afforded the right legally to ban those products outright,” Newsom said. “We’d need legislative support. We’re pushing the envelope, we’ll see how far we can go ... I’m hopeful we can find a pathway to do just that, in the absence of any legislative push.”

Personally, I think we have as much to fear from states cracking down as we do the feds. MI and NY vapers would agree. More to come?
States do not have the power to prevent one from ordering from an overseas vendor. They can't even prevent you from getting in your car and driving to another state to buy what you want. Heck, look at NYC where traditional cigarettes have been subject to outrageous taxation for many years now and as a result, more than half the cigs consumed there are brought in "informally".

Depending on the resources put into enforcement, a federal ban has the potential to be far worse. And unless something unexpected happens (which strikes me as unlikely given the current atmosphere), we're getting what amounts to a federal ban next May...
