This has been done by most processors prior.
I think the earliest I heard was in 2011.
They started as their own company, focused on sales (the pages are kind of vague)...based in NY, USA.
They acquired Deutsche Card Services in 2012 and "a controlling interest in Banco Popular’s merchant acquiring business in Spain." (2nd link below)

Yeah, but you have to wonder who and where the big-money backers are. Maybe it's all "normal" baking and finance and acquisition and growth. You have to wonder if there's any BT or BP money in there, but I don't see it so far.

Maybe. But once word gets out the anti-viral properties of VG and PG significantly reduce Novel Coronavirus infections, our numbers will grow faster than their ability to make up stuff.
