So from what I've gathered is that some people completely quit the moment they started vaping and others stopped smoking a little after they started vaping. So far it seems as thought the intention is to completely rid yourselves from smoking cigarettes.

I did not buy my kit to quit....I just got it as a whim...to try it out !! Ended up deciding it tasted better than the cigarettes, and health wise, it was a no brainer. Was a wonderful accident to quit smoking !

Quit analogs when I received my Ego in January. It was hard to break my smoking rituals the first week.
I ran out of juice and smoked analogs for a couple of days in early Feb. I thought I was missing analogs, but as I sat in my smoking chair outside, I realized I really was not.
I went back to vaping... I will not kick myself in the future if I have an analog, but I do not intend on having any as I do not need them.

Only hoped it work enough to get me to cut down. My smoking was controlling me. Took my first good vape and loved it. Didn't smoke the rest of the day. Did have a couple the next few days but then they just started tasting bad and I was not enjoying them. The last Analog I had tasted so bad I put it out after a couple of puffs and picked up my eGo to clear the taste out of my mouth, lol. Threw the rest in the trash without a second thought.

I am sort of glad that I tried a couple after starting to vape and was able to compare them. Now I know I don't really want one after all.

I started vaping in August 2010 with a Smoke Tip, then I found ECF in September and got a 510, and now on a Riva. I'm down to about a pack a week or so. I intended to only cut down, but after coming to ECF and reading all the success stories, I was hoping I wouldn't like smoking after vaping for so long. Don't know if that will EVER happen, but I'm happy to be smoking so much less and I'll just have to keep hoping. Congrats to ALL here how have quit smoking successfully! How I envy you!

I quit when i got my ego kit in the mail, i tried my first ecig through a 20 dollar njoy from 7-11, although the refills were costing me 20 a day lol, I ended up blowing 60 bucks on the njoy and refills, but i'm happy it got me into ecigs. I smoked over a pack a day for more than 20 years, when i first started the e cig, it actually felt like it was healing my lungs, i did not have this feeling when I quit cold turkey or with the patch or gum, that feeling of its healing me is what I think got me hooked into vaping, granted i've traded one habit for another, but I feel better and my hands and clothes do not stink anymore, actually my girlfriend has told me i've turned into a air freshener, its only been two weeks and I can confidently say I like vaping more than cigarettes, i'm on week two of not smoking, the first week was super easy, second week with my lungs feeling better i think about cigarettes alittle, but just vape instead. I never thought I would quit or that it would be this easy
