I started vaping in August 2010 with a Smoke Tip, then I found ECF in September and got a 510, and now on a Riva. I'm down to about a pack a week or so. I intended to only cut down, but after coming to ECF and reading all the success stories, I was hoping I wouldn't like smoking after vaping for so long. Don't know if that will EVER happen, but I'm happy to be smoking so much less and I'll just have to keep hoping. Congrats to ALL here how have quit smoking successfully! How I envy you!

Dawn, a pack a week is great!! Did you ever think that was possible?

I haven't smoked analogs. I did have a couple the first week and one time when I didn't have a battery charged but I honestly prefer the taste of my pv. The few I had honestly made me sick. It didn't help that they were pretty stale. vaping tastes so much better to me than an analog.

I quit when i got my ego kit in the mail, i tried my first ecig through a 20 dollar njoy from 7-11, although the refills were costing me 20 a day lol, I ended up blowing 60 bucks on the njoy and refills, but i'm happy it got me into ecigs. I smoked over a pack a day for more than 20 years, when i first started the e cig, it actually felt like it was healing my lungs, i did not have this feeling when I quit cold turkey or with the patch or gum, that feeling of its healing me is what I think got me hooked into vaping, granted i've traded one habit for another, but I feel better and my hands and clothes do not stink anymore, actually my girlfriend has told me i've turned into a air freshener, its only been two weeks and I can confidently say I like vaping more than cigarettes, i'm on week two of not smoking, the first week was super easy, second week with my lungs feeling better i think about cigarettes alittle, but just vape instead. I never thought I would quit or that it would be this easy

At least you were able to quit with the patch and gum. Patch, gum & pills didn't work for me. I thought I was a hopeless case. Never thought this was possible.

I wasn't sure exactly what I was trying to accomplish when I ordered my kit. I just kept running across these glowing reviews of e cigarettes in general which likened the product to a "miracle" and a "Godsend." I'm an all or nothing kinda gal, myself, and I definitely didn't expect anything (short of a lobotomy or coma) to ease my cravings for cigarettes. I hoped for a miracle at best, but assumed it would take at least a month or two to ween myself off the analogs. The morning after I received my kit, I realized that I could quit. I prefer vaping in just about every way- flavor, scent, convenience, price. I never want to go back to conventional cigarettes.

Lol. I Felt exactly the same way(although i'm not a gal :)) These e-cigs really are amazing. I wasn't really thinking about actually quitting, but after I got my kit and tried it, this amazing thought popped into my head "I never thought it would be possible but I think I can quit!"

Bought a horrible e-cig from the flea market in December, but it was enough to make me start researching and I purchase da Titan 510 starter kit. Recieved that on Christmas Eve and immediately cut my cigarette smoking in half. Smoked my last analogue on January 10th. I had a few left in a pack and stuck them in a drawer. Over the last month, I have pulled one out and smoked a couple of puffs just for the heck of it, and it amazes me how bad they taste. Really dirty, is the only way I can describe it. Am still playing with flavors, and am still searching for that perfect all day vape, but I am amazed at how easy it really was.

I have sense purchased a Riva because of the battery life and I switch between the two since the atomizers and cartridges are compatable with both. I do love the smaller e-cig when I am out, therefore, I will probably continue to make sure I have extra 510 batteries with me since they don't last long. When I am at home, I am usually carrying my Riva around.

My husband has been saying for quite a while that he needs to quit. I always though he would before me, because I have never "wanted" to quit. Only knew that I "needed" to. I purchased a starter kit for him when I got my first one, and other than an occasional try "when I have pulled it out and kind of pushed the issue", he is not interested. The box just sits there on the desk waiting for him. He says he will one day, so I don't press the issue. He has commented that he does not think he could deal with being prepared with the juice, extra battery, extra atty, etc. & I can understand that with a man. It is much easier for a woman to carry what she needs in her purse. I carry my "stuff" in a hard eyeglass case and its perfect.

I applaud you gentlemen who have found a way to make sure you are "prepared" when you are out. If you have any great suggestions, I would appreciate them in order that I can pass those suggestions on to him. It may ease his transition when he is ready.

They are amazing! I was terrified of quitting and terrified of continuing to smoke. It's also amazing just how "ready" a person can feel when the solution appears. I would always balk and say, "But I love smoking!" The afternoon my Joye 510 arrived, I pretty much said "Screw these 4000 chemicals! I'm so done letting these things run my life." I don't think I really loved cigarettes per se, but I loved the behavior.

I quit the moment I got my kit, about 28 days ago. I just told myself that I would try it and use it to cut down on smoking, (I secretly wanted it to be good enough to quit but didn't want to pressure myself.) But I never had the craving to smoke analogs again. Of course, now I vape my head off; But I enjoy vaping so much more

I haven't had an analog in 15 hours. All day basically. I had 2 when I woke up this morning, my eGo kit arrived and the rest is Vap-history. I don't even have ANY analogs in the house. I have no desire for one, hadn't had a desire for one since like 1 hour after vaping. The more I vape the more the taste increases. I can taste little details in my e-liquid now that was blander when I first started only 12 hours ago. I will never go back.

I wish I would have found out about e-cigs a long time ago too. I recently estimated how much I've spent on cigarettes in my lifetime and the number is sickening. At least now I can calculate the estimated savings for the future.

If he can carry a pack of cigarettes and a lighter around, he can carry a PCC and some cartos inside it. Maybe he'd like a vapor king kit from vapor4life. (plus, you can get them in white with tan "filter" if that's an issue too)

I tried to get my best friend in the world to vape too and she just isn't into it. I'm thinking of setting her up with the vapor king. I can't understand why she's not trying it, when I gave it to her she said that she'd been wanting to try it and that she had been into the hookah for a while when she lived across the country a while back.

We've been bff's for the last 30 years (smoking together for 25 of them), I just can't give up on her.

I am in the Philippines at the moment (going back to UK in 2 weeks), and walking around one of the many malls they have here, I found kiosk selling everything in the way of E-cig, the company branding was Denkat, but on further investigation I found out that their products are Joyetech, Well in the past I had brought a cheap E-cig in the UK from one of those through the door catalogs, I didn't think much of it at all, I had to suck so hard to get anything and I didn't really like what I got, So I gave it up. But seeing this kiosk and knowing I really should try and quite smoking, I had a chat to the guy, well cut a short story even sorter I brought a 510 and some juice, and I Love it!!, Wow if my e-cig had been like this in the UK I would have given up smoking a year and a half ago, The best thing here is I could see what I was buying and he even let my try it before I brought it, I have been back 3 times and brought a bigger battery and more Juice, Great product !!!!!!!!!!

You know i think that many people would try this if they could see a good quality vp before they started. I know that I was very apprehensive at first about buying one because I had never seen anything except the cheep trashy ones in the gas stations around where i live and i just didn't know what to expect. But now that I have taken a leap of faith and got my Riva 510 I'm so glad i did. I really wish that there was some where close buy that I could go and see some of the other products out there though, that would still be nice. I live in Eastern Kentucky and seems like we are always a little behind the times here, lol and i don't know of any one else that does this but I'm going to be working hard to convert my friends that smoke lol.
