-There is one very big disadvantage to the GG. You have to wait! It is kinda like the anticipation I had when I was pregnant. At least now I don't have to get fat.

aaaah, yes, but with all the things in life worth having------

the long anticipation can make the final having ---
all the more sweeter........

While I don't own a GG, I can list the 2 disadvantages for me that will keep me from purchasing one:

1) Length of time it would take to get it repaired if it broke for some reason. Not that the repairs would take long, it's the shipping that take forever. Shipping from Great Britain is okay but from any other European country is terribly long.

2) Price. The innovations are nice and I'm sure you aren't getting rich doing this, but I just can't bring myself to spend that much on a big battery mod.

I hope that this isn't taken as a slam on your product.

I understand how you would feel this way without ever owning a GG but there is nothing to wear out on a GG. They are built to last a lifetime. The exchange rate just raises the price so much it is expensive but It isn't that bad once you realize what you are getting for your money. It will never become obsolete.

Watching for the mail man is like labor pains. Well maybe not as bad :rolleyes::rolleyes: but it is still tough. Then when you get your little GG your heart just fills with love.

In my experiences nothing is unbreakable or lasts a lifetime.

Hi Opus, and welcome to the forum.I have had my GG for over 6 months and I am rough on everything!I have dropped it way to many times lol nicked it up a bit but not a single problem out of it in over 6 months.I just dont see this thing breaking,,,maybe if I drive a tank over it or something lol I also have had the sd and the adaptever and already had to send the sd in for repair after a month or 2 and the adaptever has the same button so I dont see it lasting either.but the GG still going strong as the day I bought it :)

All my orders to Imeo have came to me in less than 2 weeks usually 7 or 8 days.and this is probably my 5th order.Worth every penny!!I dont see this breaking anytime soon.

aaaaaawww, stormy,
you makin' me all teary over here --- hahaha,--:):)

Vinyl,
I agree, I have had many orders from Sakiss,
all have come from Greece to Australia in a week or so,
and never had a problem with any of them.
I do believe that each product I have purchased
has been worth the money I paid for it,
And yes, I agree, they do not seem to have anything on them that can break, except only the spring, and really, that is so easily replaced from any hardware store, it is hardly a concern at all.

I have been thinking about different length springs instead of battery spacers. I must remember to ask Imeo about that. I don't like to carry magnets in my purse.

Take GG to hardware store, ask them to fit you a spring with a little more length, you only need about 3 or 4 more twists than it has now....
make sure the spring is not too soft
nor too hard, just a little harder than the existing is ok.

Some of my batteries need the shorter spring though. If the spring was a tad looser it would slip on and off easily and I could change them out.

yes, problem is tho
if it is too loose it may come off and touch the sides and you will have a short out
it is not that hard to get it off,
you have to screw it,
screw it off,
and the other one --
screw it on--
try it --
it is not hard to screw it on and off.....
:)

GGs aren't for everyone, some people prefer factory made over hand crafted. To me this is an advantage but not to everyone. If you like hand crafted, built to last a lifetime items you might just love a GG.

Some people won't buy a GG for various reasons, that's no problem, we still welcome everyone here. :)

I stretched my spring just a little when I got it and have never needed a magnet.

Me too - although I found I need a magnet to use the newer 3000mAh 18650s.

Stormy, if you're carrying around batteries in your purse that you know you're going to need magnets on, don't you just put the magnets on the batteries as you are carrying them around?

I read in a forum that hates me:lol:, that GG is a very simple design. He meant that this is a disadvantage of it:lol::lol::lol:
I agree with you,Imeo.;) The most difficult problem of the manufacturing is to keep simplicity while having necessary features. GG is the very superior device about this.
I feel sorry for the people who can say only gripes to what somebody accomplished.:D:D

Newton said that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

If we take this further and apply it to positive and negative energies, then we see that the pure positive energy inspired by the GG and its creator, also leads to negative energies (and jealousy) being expressed.

No avoiding this, I don't think. We just have to live with it and let the product speak for itself.
