I don't have a problem with the spring on my GG Grant, but I am having a problem with the GG Grant that has the locking button.
It gets stuck in the pressed postion and won't release unless I pull it up. I've already fried a couple of attys when I didn't realize that the button had gotten stuck. I also burned my hand when I picked it up because the atty was super hot. Is there a fix for the button getting stuck?
I also had this prob, The spring inside the two piece plunger part of the booton is failed.....
I had a replacement booton shipped to me, and replaced it with ease- just unscrewed the old and replaced with the new one-
Also, my brass GG adapters are turning green - what to clean them with to get rid of the green?
most any type of metal polish should do it --- they are brass, so I think any type of gentle metal polish would do it-----
Also, I inadvertently screwed the atty end cap on too tight and couldn't unscrew it with my hands so I had to take pliers to unscrew it to change batteries. Is there a way to remove the dents and scratches in the GG case and end cap that the pliers made?
very fine sandpaper would do it, like a very very fine glass paper I think, 1000 or something like that----- where is Iken- he would know this, ---
ask him about this one ------
Maybe someone can help so my GG works like it did when it was new?? It still vapes aok, but need to fix a few problems.
Thanks for the suggestions Di.
When it first started happening I dripped some sewing machine oil on the sides of the button and then pressed it several times. That helped for a bit but then it went back to getting stuck. I didn't think about the spring failing though.
I've noticed lately when I screw the button to locking, or unlocking, there's a glitch at a certain point where it's hard to get past that point with screwing or unscrewing the locking nut. Sewing machine oil helped lube the threads, but it's back to hanging at a certain point.

just rub the thread against a candle, or if it is on the inside, melt a little and apply

What is wrong with simple? Hasn't anyone heard of the term "KISS"? KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID!
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
If it tastes fine, don't change the recipe!
Newly improved does not mean better!
The GG is........
κτῆμα ἐς ἀεί = "everlasting possession"
Mamu, the posibility to send it back to me exists. I will pay the shipping cost back to you.
Gary, I really believe that you are Greek, I cant explain it in a diferent way![]()
