itsdesiree,

There are so many choices out there I would say, JUST DO IT. Order some extra juices (get samples at first) and order this starter kit.

KGO kits and parts

Good Luck!

P.S. If you want to try vaping TODAY. Go to your closest Walgreens and pick up a disposable Blu (no the Blu starter kit, they are not that great) and see how you like it. You'll be surprised how well these things work to kill the nic cravings. Probably best to start with your first vaping in the morning before you have a real cigarette.

GOOD LUCK!

What is the BEST way to begin?

I am very new to vaping and would have to say this is a very good post for the extreme newbie. I say extreme newbie because I just received my first PV in the mail today. Will have to look into those sample packs everybody is referring to though. I ordered mainly what my buddies are using as it tasted good to me but am looking forward to seeing what all is out there. Thanks again for the post excellent read.

Dude,

You are light years ahead with "buddies" that can let you sample their juices. I was lucky in my first PV order that the menthol it came with was pretty good. I've gotten a few samples from other places in the past week and none of it was good. And, from what I read on ECF that is the norm. In that, it takes many many attempts at ordering and trying before one finds even a "few" eJuices they like. Heck, I if were you I would order 30ml bottles of those ones your buddies are using and don't look back!

Cheers!

Right from the beginning:
  • DON'T UNDERSPEND
  • DON'T UNDERESTIMATE
  • DON'T UNDERSTOCK
  • DO GET THE BEST PERSONAL VAPE SYSTEM
  • DO EXPECT EXPECT TO QUIT ANALOGS - FOREVER
  • DO PURCHASE MORE THAN ENOUGH FROM THE BEGINNING
    .

  • LOL, I might have done too good of a job on "DON'T UNDERSPEND" Hopefully my better half will understand...

Just found out the difference - in a Noob way - between PG & VG.

My first eJuice was pure VG. Mild throat hit, nice lung hit. Ordered some 70/30 pg/vg juice last week and smoked my first bit yesterday. I now KNOW I don't care for Throat Hit (TH). I like the lung hit, or what I would call lung hit. Actually had an almost allergic reaction in my throat to the PG. Felt like I had a sore throat afterwards! : (

Therefore, I'm thinking, since PG gives less vapor but stronger throat hit, it's a no brainer for me. VG all the way. More vapor = better lung sensation.

I agree. When I wrote this I didn't realize there was such a Mall eCig scam out there. I'd change that one to:

DON'T UNDERSPEND - NOR BUY CRAP LOL!

Loads of good advice! Starting out we all have spent a fair amount of money trying to find what works. Either on kits or juice it seems to be trial and error. The only thing I would say is that you can over pay on a device "cough mall kiosk cough".

Agreed with the OP and thread content! Even though I prolly paid more for my kit than many here (2 eGo bats, 2 attys, 10 carts) doesn't matter. Ask yourself, "Would you pay $500.00 to become tobacco free? Who wouldn't? Of course you don't have to spend anywhere near that but whatever you spend is worth every penny.

You sound motivated, educated and enthusiastic for only doing this for a week. I started out with the blu's myself...haven't had a cig since my first puff on that blu, so thank God for it. That being said, I quickly found something better, and better, and better. 3 weeks after buying my blu, I boarded the 510 ship, then the Ego train a month later. Then started into mods. I went with the mako maksi, then the mako midi, then the megalodon, the saber touch, the silver bullet, the provari, the darwin, VV box mods, etc. 21 months later I still haven't had even one cigarette and reading your story reminded me how cool this journey is. I welcome you to the forum, to travel with us, and to never look back. Good job on your smoking cessation and it's always a pleasure to hear from ecstatic newcomers. Enjoy the ride!!!

Just vaped from my newly received (today) CE2 dual coil cartomizers! Now, that's what I'm talking about...

Smoking analogs experience surpassed. I also just stepped down (after 18 days vaping) from 24mg to 16mg and the CE2 is giving me double the vapor with a smoother Throat Hit, but stronger feeling in my lungs. For past few hours I have taken 3-4 nice easy draws of 16mg every hour or so, and felt satisfied. Whereas before with my old single coil carto I needed 10-15 with 24mg.

The Bad: Dang that needle is pointy and sharp! They called it a "blunt" needle, so when I took off the guard I touched my finger on the tip wondering just how dull it was....it ain't! Drew blood. Won't do that again. Looks like the only way to fill my 3.5ml CE2's is with that sharp needle and hypo. No worries. Just sit down and do a couple at a time and I'm set for two or three days. No leaking as of yet. I would suggest if any other noobs (as I am) do not want the hassle, but would like to try the low resistance and full vapor delivered by a dual coil, that they just get pre-filled cartomizers.
