Dream of the Rapture? Why would you dream of that? It's not for you or me to know!! If God wanted you to know wouldn't he have just put in in the bible?

He did put it in the bible Brad, it says that He will seal His people and they will be caught up in the air with Him. This sister explains it the way the Lord showed it to her in a dream. Did you watch the video?

He did put it in the bible and he also said that it's not for us to know. What is this obsession with death?? God didn't talk to her, she has schizophrenia why is that so hard to see? I understand the want to believe, but GOD isn't talking to her!! Some people are just nuts. It is that simple.

Brad, He said the day and hour is not for us to know. This sister does not give a day or hour. Why are you judging her? Calling someone mentally ill because they are being taught by God Himself? That's treading on thin ice my friend.

Come on you don't really think she is sain do you? I am not judging her I actually have a few friends that are mentally ill. I have a masters degree in psychology as well. I don't have to make up stuff to love God or to feel his love either. I'm sure she is a nice person, but in my opinion she actually has serious problems. And that's fine but I don't really think she is a very good example when it comes to bringing the word of God to the people. When you post stuff like this you turn away a lot of people. Love Christ and his teachings but why bring in people who clearly have problems?

She does not appear to be mentally ill to me. I"m really surprised you would peg her as schizophrenic without even knowing her or knowing anything about her. That's amazing to me, and sad.

But whatever, I'm not interested in arguing with you. Her testimony is wonderful and inspired as far as I'm concerned. You are free to dismiss it if you choose.

That's right, different strokes for different folks. I just want to address part of your comment that I missed. Christians eagerly await the rapture because this is the coming of their Lord and Savior, and the end of their trials on an earth that is under the control of the wicked one. It is not an obsession with death, as you put it, but the eager expectation of the only true real life through Jesus Christ, His heavenly Kingdom and the New Earth that is promised in the Bible. That's real life.

I kinda like being alive, my kids are great and so are my parents and wife. I like being a Christian but I don't like the Rapture part. I think it gets people off of the track of love. It seems to make people obsessive and forget that Jesus is about love and not death. The end will get here soon enough, we don't have to wish for it to show up.

Lisa you can believe in the Rapture and know it's the word of God, but do you have to obsess about it? Like I said whatever works for you. But for me I'm more worried about loving my family. I tend to think Jesus wouldn't want us to walk through life thinking about the end. Doesn't he want us to enjoy our lives? Doesn't he want us to enjoy our time on Earth? Yes there is more evil than you or I can fathom, but that shouldn't be what we focus on, should it?

Well, that's not a really easy question to answer, it's complicated.

Yes, I do believe He wants us to enjoy our short time on earth, but we are to keep our eyes on Him, first and foremost. Living in this world is very difficult for some christians, myself included. I have no love for this evil system, in fact I hate it. I hate it because it's so corrupt and there is no hope here without the intervention of Jesus.

I have a hard time dealing with the evil in the world, the pain, the suffering, all of the things I see, it hurts me deeply. I love my family deeply, and I love being around them, they are a big joy in my life. But I also love other living things in this world that are suffering on a daily basis, animals, children, and others. I'm not selfish in my love so that the only thing that matters is me and my family, I can't deny the suffering of the innocents in this world and I know that Jesus is the only one who will put an end to the pain that they feel. I want that suffering to end, today.

As a Christian, I know that the end of this cruel world will usher in a new world with Jesus as King, and no more pain, suffering and evil. Everyone will be happy, and that's what I want, that's the right thing. How can I be content with this world while I have enough to eat, but my brothers and sisters in africa are starving? How can I be content with this world while children are being beaten, raped and killed tonight? How can I be content with this world while innocent animals are being abused? I just can't.

For me, being a follower of Jesus is the most important thing in my life. It's more important then me and my family, it comes first. He told us to keep our eye on the prize and watch for His return, and that's what I do. I do show love to my fellow humans in the meantime, and I witness to others about Him so that they might also have the gift of salvation. That's what we are supposed to do.

I look at this life like a classroom, or a stepping stone, it's a stop over point that leads to the real one, the everlasting one, the great one. I think about it everyday, and I talk to Him all the time about it.

When you see things happening in the world that are in agreement with what He said would be happening right before His glorious return, a serious follower of His can't help but to keep watching, keep listening, and yearn for His return.

I would ask you this Brad, why would you not want Him to come today? Why would you not want to put an end to all of the suffering in the world?

As Christian's, we are to long for His return, that's scripture, but it is also realistic and normal. In the same way that you miss your wife and children when you are away for an extended period of time, If you have been truly touched by God then you also long to be with Him. Not at the expense of those in this life that you love, but longing for the time when you are all together as one because only then are both loves satisfied. If there is a true relationship with Christ then this is a natural feeling - to miss and long to be where He is. If there is no true relationship then this feeling may not be present.

It is confounding to want to stay but also want to go and be with the Lord. It is not wanting death, it is wanting life, true life.

I submit that it is possible (and probably most true Christian's plight) to be torn between the two. We deal with longing for Christ AND not wanting to leave our earthly loved ones. We don't deny one for the other. We enjoy our current relationships now while we simultaneously long to be with God in Heaven in the fullness of eternity.

There's nothing wierd or wrong about it.

Great post Ehuman! Loved it! We should also do everything humanly possible to ensure that our loved ones also have a strong relationship with Jesus so that they will also be there in His Kingdom.

I'm so looking forward to the rapture as I WANT TO BE WITH JESUS....period. The epitome of my life is to be with Jesus. My heart yearns for it. This world is only going to get worse than it is now.... and that's before the rapture. I mean, I heard Hal Lindsey talking about prepping items on one of his programs. You don't want this for your family, Brad. I know you don't. If this upsets you, don't click on the rapture threads.

Now about this video......I prayed for discernment before I watched it. I felt from the beginning to the end that it was legit. I love the sealing whoosh, and the empty opened graves.....never thought about that part. It makes sense. What really cinched it for me was the pastor left behind. I believe God gives His children dreams.....it's Scriptural. God gave one to Joseph.......actually, 2 of them. God uses the least of us to show his His Power. It's one of those oxymoron things. I do not think this woman is mentally ill. The drawings were done probably by her grandchildren. Why wouldn't God give her this dream! Thank you, Lisa for posting it!:)

You know even if that video was a shame (I.E. she was making it up), The content of what she said is scriptural. In context it is not leading anyone astray. Worst case, she is lying about the vision/dream and she answers to God herself. But what she is saying is going to happen is in the Bible. Best case, it is what it is and it confirms what we already know.

I can't say from watching a video of a person who I do not know whether this message is from God or not. However, his word does not return unto him void, it will give reason for pause in the viewers heart and mind....

One thing I do know is that God speaks through ALL his children, mentally ill or not. My sister is a paranoid schizophrenic, was on the lock up ward in the State hospital for violent mentals for 17 years. Docs said she would be there the rest of her life....NOT! God moved mightily in her life and has healed her through much prayer and medicine. Her illness drew my entire family into the kingdom of God and now she is set free, has her own apartment. She has a heart for the homeless and has put in many hours ministering to them. God has given the HUGE message of hope to the many of lives she has touched. We should never underestimate the power of God in anyone's life.....

God will speak to us in the way we least expect it, many times that can be through someone who is mentally ill, a child, a homeless person...Jesus spoke to us in parables. We all need to start discerning the body of Christ and the wonderous ways his message is delivered to us. The Holy Spirit came and he will show us all things that he hears...which means he continues to work, it didn't end with the writers of the scripture. Jesus is the living, breathing WORD and his mercies are new every morning.

God open our eyes to your wonderous works and help keep us humble that we may praise you!
