I'm so looking forward to the rapture as I WANT TO BE WITH JESUS....period. The epitome of my life is to be with Jesus. My heart yearns for it. This world is only going to get worse than it is now.... and that's before the rapture. I mean, I heard Hal Lindsey talking about prepping items on one of his programs. You don't want this for your family, Brad. I know you don't. If this upsets you, don't click on the rapture threads.

Now about this video......I prayed for discernment before I watched it. I felt from the beginning to the end that it was legit. I love the sealing whoosh, and the empty opened graves.....never thought about that part. It makes sense. What really cinched it for me was the pastor left behind. I believe God gives His children dreams.....it's Scriptural. God gave one to Joseph.......actually, 2 of them. God uses the least of us to show his His Power. It's one of those oxymoron things. I do not think this woman is mentally ill. The drawings were done probably by her grandchildren. Why wouldn't God give her this dream! Thank you, Lisa for posting it!:)

Me too! I loved that swoosh, the graves, and the pastor thing. Those are things I had never thought about before either! :):)

Yes, God does use the least of us, that's for sure! That's one of the reasons I posted this video. That sister appears to come from very humble means. She's not all decked out with fancy clothes and jewelry, living in a fancy home, physically beautiful and glamorous, doesn't speak using big words, no tv cameras or pulpit behind her, middle aged, overweight, probably poor with a high school diploma at best. No fancy presentation there, just crudely drawn pictures and a dinning room table.

And yet God spoke to her!! The outside package there isn't spectacular, but the inside must be and that's what God looks at, that's the only thing that matters to Him. What a great message this is for everyone.

You know when you turn on your tv and see those million dollar preachers? The ones with the beautiful wives, the ones living in the fancy homes driving the fancy cars, asking you for money? Well.............I wonder when the last time that God ever really spoke to them? Hmmmmmmmmmmm..........know what I"m sayin?

Yet He chooses the real humble people among us, the smallest people that are real spiritual giants! Those are the ones HE wants, those are the ones HE chooses, those are the ones that HE loves the most, those are the ones who will inherit the Kingdom of God!!!!!!!!

Let us always make sure that we are humble enough to be counted as one of His chosen! AMEN!! :):):):):)

Believe it or not there are humble people who have beautiful wives and nice cars. Yes most of the big time preachers are full of it. But you can also find that in many tiny churches. In fact I have never met one person who speaks in tongues who I believed for one second. If a person really truly believes, why do they have to make things up? Rolling on the floor is another one that gets my goat. How can you stand yourself if you have to play make believe? Isn't it more simple to just believe? Have faith and love, it's really that simple.

Brad, I'm a true blue Southern Baptist. I've personally experienced being 'touched by God' 2 times.....I mean, down on the floor I went....twice! I don't like the term 'slain in the spirit' as that reminds me of getting murdered. But, it's not phony. I know from where I speak. It sure looks fake on tv and I used to be one of the ones who believed it was full of hooey. I don't understand it, but I did experience it. It was great. I did not roll on the floor, however. I do not speak in tongues nor do I have a prayer language, besides English. I have heard some people who you can tell aren't fakes and others, it sounds fake to me. Go figure. But it's not up to me to say to a fellow sister and say, "Your prayer language sounds like hooey!" I'm crazy.....I'm not stupid!

Brad what you are describing is the very reason that many people doubt sincerity in Christianity... Because many want to be seen as something they are not. They are full of pride and pretend. Although this phony stuff does happen, it is a counterfeit of the truth I.E. it imitates the truth. Satans way of making us deny the truth catagorically because of some pretenders.

I personally had a period of time when God (for lack of better ways of describing this) allowed me to "sit in His presence" 24 hours a day for a couple of weeks straight then the intensity faded a little and continued for another 4 months after that. I didn't speak in tongues once but God spoke to me clearly. I didn't roll on the floor but I often fell to my knees. For the first week I found it hard not to cover my mouth with my hand in deisbelief. (My wife was constantly pulling it down as she couldn't hear me speak). God revealed many thing to me with such clarity that it blew me away. I could not prove any of this in the physical to those around me but very soon it became apparent as what I spoke could not be denied or disproved by the Bible. It agreed with and supported the Bible (or vice versa).

So most of the big time preachers are full of it. Some aren't.
So some people fake the gifts of the Spirit, not all do, and that doesn't make the gifts fake, just people.

Part of Satan's plan is to cause some Christian's to get so fed up with false religious acts that they no longer believe in or trust that God still moves at all in His children. Because they see fakes, they falsely label all as fakes.

So while "I feel you", and I think I see where you are coming from, I find it odd that you complain about false tongues in response to a dream someone claims to have had. (That while it "looked hokey", it was Biblical information that can be found in your morning study time to be true).

It is not a bad thing to use discernment or be on the alert for false teachers and preachers. But beware that Satan doesn't turn you so hyper-critical that you are no longer able to trust or see or accept it when God actually does a miracuolous work in your presence.

Yes some people pretend so that others will look at them. But can you tell the difference between that and the guy who looks identical who is genuine? We are to receive what they say with joy, and then compare it to the scriptures to see if it is so.

Very well said. I just believe and love. However, I have just seen so many fakers, I really think they do much more harm than good. When I was in combat I "saw the light". I did feel Jesus and knew that he loved me and wanted me to get home safe. But I have also seen my sister talk in tongues and knew she was faking. I don't think anything can be worse than that. I have seen holy rollers fall down and thump their heads and just knew they were faking. That just doesn't help spread the word of God. All I ask is that people be honest with themselves. I know we are all liers and we all sin, but when it comes to God can't we at least all be honest about it? Do we have to have attention so bad that we make things up? I don't know if the lady in the video was making it up, but I honestly think she was. I think it was a cry for attention. Maybe she just really wanted to believe? I know I did, I was scared out of my mind. One of my friends was sent home with pstd. One stabbed himself in the leg with a bayonet. Three of my friends were killed right in front of me. So I think I really needed the help.

I think at times God lets things get really bad so we have to reach out to him. Kinda like walking a tight rope. We have to reach out and ask for help. He lets us walk along feeling fine and then he gives the rope a tug so we must reach out.

I'm happy you made it back alive! :) I might be wrong about this Brad, but I think you have more of a problem with the subject matter then you do with the actual woman in the video. You have a problem with the rapture, but you need to understand why it's so important. If you love Jesus, then you will want what He wants, and He wants His Kingdom to come to earth and the evil one to be destroyed. This can only happen in due time, and part of that is the rapture and the destruction of this world. :)

I whole-heartedly agree
... when it comes to God can't we at least all be honest about it? Do we have to have attention so bad that we make things up?
Unfortunately some amongst our ranks are immature, some are mistaken about belonging to God, and some know they don't. If we chastise the immature with a message that belongs to the knowingly false Christian then we can do damage.

I think at times God lets things get really bad so we have to reach out to him. Kinda like walking a tight rope. We have to reach out and ask for help. He lets us walk along feeling fine and then he gives the rope a tug so we must reach out.
I agree that God often works like that, He did in my life. God warned that there would be tares amoung the wheat but He said not to try and remove them as some of the wheat can be pulled up in the process. Use discernment, caution Christian's about readily receiving non Biblical doctrine. But don't be too quick about hammering Christian's that are zealous in their immaturity. We don't know how every true Christian will react to the prompting of the Spirit of God. We are at an endless level of intelligence and maturity, we won't all react the same. Sometimes we will sound downright ignorant in our expressions.

I don't know Lisa. I was a huge doubter because of alot of false things that happened around me that eventually got exposed. Loads of people were faking for various reasons, primarily to be "seen as holier than thou", but also to fleece the flock. That doubt almost soured me to God altogether. But I saw genuine Christians in theur midst. My need or desire to know and see the truth has caused me to examine everything because of the false. But God is maturing me to see that not everyone expresses things the way I do and that doesn't make them wrong.

I think it is a good thing to not blindly accept everything just because someone says it is so. But we need to be careful with how we handle those who cause us to doubt because they may be genuine.

Brad, thank you for serving your country. That's first and foremost. I can only imagine what horrors you witnessed, and I do understand why some people can't move past the post traumatic stress syndrome. I don't know that I could, in all honesty.

I'm picking up some fear from you on the end time prophesies, and there is nothing wrong with that. My mom got easily frightened of it because she was the doubting Thomas of the family. It had absolutely nothing to do with her salvation. Her personality was different from Daddy's and mine. satan robbed her of joy, as she was a melancholy personality. She'd been taught that God was gonna get you if you sinned and even preachers couldn't break that childhood curse of hers. She was 35 years old when she heard a preacher say for the first time that God loved her. I've always found that to be so sad. She wanted to communicate with God like I do. I told her she could and how to do it. If I could have changed it for her, I would. My faith was built one stone of adversity at a time. She'd pray and then smoke a pack of cigarettes afterwards. That was just her. I kept praying for her, though. Daddy had a childlike faith and I took after him. She leaned on the arm of man too much. Her mother would tell her that all the time, and in all honesty, it was true. Again, that had no bearing on her salvation. My sister took after her more than she did Daddy. She looked upon end time prophesy as 'doom and gloom.' To her, it was. Myself, I'd get excited! People are different. Each of us has our own strengths and weaknesses. Opposites attract.....I've always heard that. The reason why, is it makes a whole. Where I'm strong, my husband isn't, and vice versa. We make a complete person, which is kinda cool if you think about it. I don't think this has anything to do with fake vs truth. I think it has more to do with fear and truth....and that's okay. It's a starting point!! If I am wrong, I humbly apologize.

Great point sister! We must remember that the end times are only doom and gloom for the unsaved. For christians, it's the most exciting time to be alive to witness the end of evil and to see Jesus coming in the clouds! WOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!!! I can't even imagine anything more exciting then that!

Brad, when you feel upset, worried or anxious, talk to God about this. He will ease your mind and sooth your worries and concerns. Life in His Kingdom is going to be so good, so much better then what you have now, there is no comparison, it's going to be better then we can even imagine! :)
