The e-power kit is nice, I got one in titanium. I've only had it since Friday, but the batteries really last a long time between charges. I never read warnings so I just read about not using anything lower than 2.0 ...oops. I have been using it with the dual coil cartomizer (which are my most favorite 'new' thing) and a LR 306 with a drip tip. Both work fine. The only complaint I have about the e-power is the battery charger that comes with it. It showed my batteries as fully charged when they were both dead, even after leaving them in that charger they both were dead. I stuck them in my TR-001 multi-charger which displayed red and charged them up just fine.

I don't think I ever saw a picture of the titanium one that did it justice, I sort of took a chance ordering it, but I'm glad I did..'pretty' is important to me =) and I think this is really nice looking.
This is it 'out of the box' you can check the site for a list of everything that comes with it.

And here it is with my dual coil carto and swirly drip tip =)

The entire system is modular so you can replace only the parts that need to be replaced without having to buy a whole new system. That saves money. The unit is also regulated so you get more consistent performance. There will also be upgrades. An extended tube is in the works and there are plans for a variable voltage switch (as well as a tank system). Then there are people who like to add bling to their batteries. With a typical eGo, you have to re-bling every time you buy a new battery. That's not the case with the ePower.

All in all, it is a solid unit. This unit competes with mods.

And you know all this info, how? Are you affiliated with Smok Tech? And to declare it a solid mod you've used it for how many months?

why cant one declare its a good mod if theyve only used it for a short period of time?
There's nothing about this battery mod that will decrease in performace apart from the batteries and switch, which can all be bought separately. The batteries are standardized batteries that have been known to perform well, so why is it a crime to say its a good mod even if its only been used a few days?

alright, I'm a little stupid on this... but is the mosfet in the battery or the button?

=/ lol this is something I should know by now...
well theres control circuitry probably including some mosfets inside the battery for protection but the mosfet we are referring to is the one used as an electrical button. As soon as the button is pressed the transistor will conduct and youll get current flowing through from the battery to the mosfet to the atomizer. Mosfets are good ideas for ecigs coz they can (the bigger ones, not the ones in ur pc) let a lot of current flow and it helps make the power being outputted a bit more stable

I guess, but there is no free lunch. You now have an extra layer of electronics that no matter how small does in fact leach current from the battery and the atty.

My question is why not? There seems to be some hostility towards a new and innovative product that allows for user replaceable components on a 3.7V platform. Why do we NEED this? Why not? Why do we need half or more of the items that we buy? Bottom line, who cares. If this new product float your boat go for it and vape away!

First off I really don't care about retailers promoting their products, and that wasn't the E-Power. And a voltage from hitting a fire button for 10 seconds means nothing, unless of course you re-charge every drag.

And if you think that 'test' means "no change in vape from beginning to end", you need to do more that pull up some retailer's vid as your 'proof'.

I am thinking about picking one up in a week. I like the idea that I can engrave the body (Military dictates that my last 4 need to be on everything), and not have to throw it away 2-3 months later. For those who want to really bling out the body, this would be a great idea for them I would think.
I have never been into the whole mod scene, but I feel that this is the closest one could get to a mod, without actually getting one.
Either way, I will check it out, and let you folks know what I think. You can make your own opinion on it after that.

ZOMG! We just got thunder!
