Just wanted to pass this along to you guys. I received a Hand Delievered, Registered Recipient Signature Only, Letter today.

Here is what it said;
_______________

Dear zoiDman

It has come to our attention that your thread, E2 Cartomizer Technical Discussion, accounts for 12.7% of all total ECF current web load, (ie: TCP/IP packet overhead. As of 19:49 PST – 2,525 Posts, 56,225 Views).

Where as we acknowledge that this thread and the contributions of Many other members has significantly enhanced the knowledge of the ECF community regarding the subsequent development of the E2 Cartomizer. We respectively ask that a New Thread be started by a New Member to encompass the evolution of the New E2 V4/FV as soon as possible.

Our request is based on a Data-Base limitation that a single, Non-Moderator can not have a thread that exceeds more that 65,791 views, (((2^16) + (2^8)) -1) for a single thread. In the event that a Non-Moderated thread exceeds this view limitation, it will cause a stack overflow error causing possible corruption in the next user database field. This corruption could cause user Avatars to be assigned to the wrong members.

While we are working to eliminate this restriction, we trust that you will understand our position regarding members seeing a incorrect Avatar next to their post.

Thanking You in Advance for Your Consideration in this Matter.

Sincerely

The Architect
ECF

So it sounds like what we need to do is start a Fresh thread regarding the C-E2/R4.0 for Technical Discussion because they are coming. And it sounds like it might be soon.

Since many of the Problems with the older revisions have been addressed and seeing that there might be the need to address new Tips, Trick and Problems with the new ones, it seems like it is the right thing to do. That and as soon as C-E2/R4.0 hit the market, RS will not be selling older revisions.

Of course, this thread should still be open to Any and All who want to post in it. But a new thread should be started which contain more current information regarding the revision level these E2 Cartomizer are currently in. This thread has gotten Very Big and some of the earlier post are not meaningful anymore.

Many of the Vids could and should be linked into the new thread. As well as Members tips and tricks. Perhaps even a revision summary for those who have not waded thru 2,525 posts.

What do you guys think?

(BTW – The entire letter thing was complete Shine-Ola. Everything but the Math that is.)

I don't need to clean them, if they're too bad I throw them away, lol. I used to pay more for old filler cartos than these e2's.
I do have some with the inner ring already disturbed, so those? yes, on those only, without any rings, I put water in them, shake them dry, and dry burn, but I don't dry burn that much either. These e2 cartos are very low priced and plentiful.

Sounds just like what 'banjo' was suggesting. If a new one is started be sure to link it here. I've read all posts on these from day one..lol...guess I can follow another.

At 17 words a minute, 12 posts were made in the time it took me to type my post and then spell check it 3 times.

Just seems like a New, Fresh post is in order to talk about the Technical aspects of the latest revision cartos. I went back to find a vid that Bad made and it is 12 pages back. And I use 40 posts per page.

The XL that I have been testing with the PTB mod died a natural death a few minutes ago. It happened while in normal use. It has always been operated at 3 volts. This is the only XL I have that has died. My wife had an earlier type E2 go bad, so it doesn't look like all of these things will last forever,

I've lost 3 older E2 510's in the last few days. They all died in mid-vape.

Im gonna do a prayer for this Thread, It will surely be missed, R.I.P E2 technical thread

Good God. Somebody Stop Him and call 9-1-1. He's going OD vaping!

I couldn't stand to watch it all so I fast forwarded to the end.

I swear there was sunlight coming thru the blinds at the end of that video!

_____

This thread doesn't have to die. I think it should be around for anyone to post to if they have older revisions that are currently avaliable.

But a new thread is needed.

And if we don't. You might end up with a Brain in a Jar next to your next post. ((2^15)+(2^8)-1) is coming.

Backup your Avatar while you still have time.
