I made a mouth piece mod for these out of a 6ml bottle. It is an air chamber that attaches to the mouth piece creating an air chamber and all I can say is wow. I now am going to have my glass blower friend make a custom mouth piece like this for me. If someone made this type of mouth piece I bet they'd sell much like drip tips became popular.

drop it like its hot, fill it to the top, vape it till it stops, the E2 never pops. wooohaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Here we go, this is the latest and greatest news direct from china, bringing you E2 news directly to your eyes. I'm silly fresh!!

1. They pinpointed the dented connector issue over 10 days ago, it was a mechanical error that happened at packaging so it was hard to catch until they recieved complaints.
This has been fixed and I can attest to that from my latest package but of coarse we will check all our future orders when we receive them but that is solved at the moment.

2. There haven't been any complaints on the connector issues where the ceramic e2 wouldn't work on all mods , this was a issue with the old e2's center pin not being exposed enough, if for some reason it doesn't fire on your battery or mod you can push down on the cup a tad to expose more of the center pin and that will make it fire on all mods or batteries properly.

3. The wick was steamed clean for the R3 v2 but they then added plain liquid to the wick right after so thats why the newer samples seem to have primer, that was not what they had planned and was done in error, that has been addressed and the wick will be clean and dried and no fluid on it at all, no pg, no vg. These samples have been sent out to me and i will verify that when i receive them. They have asked for me to mention to let these new e2's wick up juice after filling for the first time for a few minutes since they will be completely dry. So all e2's from this point will be bone dry.

4. The ohm option is up and working and orders will be checked to make sure we recieve the ohms we order, lower ohms(2.4 to 2.6) goes with lower volt devices from 3.3 and lower. The higher ohm'd e2's(2.8-3.2) work with lower volt and higher volt devices up to 5 or 6v. ( the 3.2 ohm e2 should be ok for 6v ).

5. There is a new inner plug, pictures of this inner plug are on the 5 pages previous to this page, it is a new inner plug and it also has slits on the underside which match up to the slits on the cup, this was done to help with wicking. The new inner plug also HAS LARGER REFILLING HOLES and is evident in the new plug pictures.

6. There is no sealant or glue of any kind in the e2 and NOW THERE IS NO SILICONE either holding the wires to the cup. that has been done to make the e2 free of any foreign substances.( new fda reports prompted this i think).

7. The Final and major issue was the leaking and Slits, The new ones I have dont seem prone to leaking without the inner plug but they say they have addressed the leaking and addressed the slit area, not sure if its a new cup or some new design in the slit area. I should have pics in a day or 2 but ill have the samples as well in a week. This new design has been tested over and over and they feel the leaking has been solved , this fix was made over a week ago and has been tested since.

Production starts in a day or 2, some of these have been used by people visiting the factory so some are out in the wild but actual production begins tomorow or the day after on the newest e2.

Great news! Been watching this thread with interest, looking forward to seeing these hit the street so I can try one.

They are testing the newest e2, the R4, if it passes all tests and they feel they have solved the issues then this most likely will be
C-E2 The Final Version.
they are not changing the wick to a new wick, so once they feel the leaks are gone then the improvements they made plus the dry wick and the new thing they are doing to help the wicking should be the end to revisions, they are hoping of coarse.

So, any dented connectors fixed, leaking fixed, slits addressed and no primer or fluid of any kind plus inner plug with slits and a wider refilling hole, more ohm choices., thats what we all asked for and if thats what they do then ill be happy and we shall know in a week or so.

I wanted to add, that while production starts in a day or so, that is to test them off the line, those then will be tested and sampled and then if it passes they will continue.

No this is the long awaited

!! R4 !!

Well, shoot fire and save matches. I just got a shipment of the latest R3's. That's okay, I'll vape the heck out of them and then by the time the R4's come out, I'll need'em :)

Thanks, bad, for all your work and for letting us know what's coming down the pike. This is good news, indeed!

I don't see anything there that makes me want to throw out my PTB. How about you?

Any idea what the coil wire is made of? I had a friend ask and say that silver would be best to prevent bacteria growth, I had never thought of that possibility.

The common thouht is that the atomizer wire is some alloy of NiChrome (Nickel - Chromium).

Silver does have anti-baterial properties but has some down sides also. The main one being that it is a Much better conductor of electricity than NiChrome. You might have to make a pretty fat wire to get 2.5 ohms of resistence.

Also, silver is a very reactive metal. Which isn't what you want in the pressence of Nicotine and Heat.
