Well after using this R3.5 for a full day I can say that tomorrow I'll be breaking out another PTB. It worked ok for the first couple hours, but it's started getting dry and the flavor has dropped off considerably now. Of course I had a hickup with my ego that probably didn't help. Apparently the button stuck at one point. I took a hit that was ok, set it down for a minute came back and took a hit that was pure burnt. Shook it upside down for a second and it's back, but its still dry and the flavor is almost gone. I'll see what happens if it sits overnight. Thanks again Bad! Love all the tinkering.

We don't have PTB here. Does it work with normal lipton tea bag? Many thanks to this thread. Read every page of it :p

Back when people here started using PTB to mod their carts some tried "regular" tea bags with poor results. Apparently the "magic" of why PTB works so well is the material it's made out of. As far as I know they're the only source.

Oh yeah, try vaping with your teeth out... br swears by it. :p

its this simple, the wick they use isnt designed for the e2, so no matter what ill always be doing the ptb method unless the r4 solves this issue, if not its ok and ill ptb.

no leaks, no primer, good connectors and im happy, i can make it wick better myself so im all good, but the r4 does have something i cant discuss that should solve the wicking issue.

Dynasty, yup sure looks like lots of vapor. lol enjoy buddy

I ordered some CE2's yesterday, fortunately I haven't paid for them yet. Email them earlier to confirm if I'm getting the R4!! I'll see in a week time when it arrives.

Banjo: I have to go to the dentist tomorrow to get all my teeth remove, after that I let you know the results :p:p

just know this, im not making promises becuase im not 100% sure yet, but , but , but, if what i was told is true, then we might not need ptb anymore.

even though whatever they are doing could of been avoided long ago by using a new type of round braided wick. but we will make do with what we get i guess.
if in the end the only issue is that you cant back to back vape like a monster or else youll get the dry taste until wicks and to fix that all i need is ptb and dont need to worry about any other issue becuase they fixed it, well then, thats all i ever wanted form vaping to begin with.

or maybe microcig can just ship them with the PTB installed?

I couldn't get the wicks up, really feels like they are caught on something or somehow snagged together under the cup? Left them in there and now it's working great! Thanks for the video how to...hopefully I can get the time down to 5 minutes per carto too

there is a trick to that as well, some feel like it wont pull up, but thats the wrong one, you need to dig deeper and get the other side pulled out . i cant explain it well but ill make a video

its also possible its stuck, i had 1 which was stuck for sure, but the others pull out if you play with it.

my brother just jumped me and stole 3 packs of the new r3 and a half and stole a box of my ptb and some juice. I guess hes happy.

^ right; also have small tweezers handy, maybe a safety pin, a toothpick, etc. once it's partially out, i use the tweezers to pull on the proper rope. hopefully the video will show people the ropes

The USPS called this morning and the package is on its way back to China:(

I have unintentionally pi$$ed Martinez off by disputing through paypal. I freaked out when I found out about the bad address and filed the dispute (too many bad ebay experiences). Now my account at ecigfair has been cancelled and I think I'm out of luck.

I know Martinez reads this board as he alluded to it in an email.

Martinez, if you see this, all I want is for this to be made right. I will even add to the order if you will ship it with the other.

You make it right and I will make sure everyone knows you do the right thing.

Let me see if I understand this correctly...

You gave them the correct shipping information?
They got the zip code wrong?
(that's what happened right?)
You tracked your order to the wrong state.
You tried to correct it with USPS (who said the shipper had to do that).
You told them they had to be the ones to change the delivery address.
They told you it wasn't their problem and your only recourse was to dispute the charges.
You did that.
They canceled your account.

so... now you're wanting to throw more money and shill for them to get back in their good graces. That about it?

If that doesn't work out for you maybe you could hire v1john to order for you. Maybe pay him an extra quarter per cart.

I'm going to wait for r11 and a local supplier :) In the mean time I'm finding the genuine Joye 510 cartomizers and eGo cartomizers to be simply outstanding.

Both good. The eGo ones generate more vapor and last longer. The 510 cartomizers hold about .8ml and only seem to last about an hour. The eGo ones (large but really nice cigar tip) hold about 1.8 or maybe a bit more and last a long time. I'm not sure if the eGo's leak a tiny bit or not. You have to remove that plastic skirt if you're going to screw them onto a mod. They were in my mail box after I got back from bowling (and heavy drinking) and I kind of did a hack job with a dremel and kind of wacked off too much and got into the bottom plug, lol. They're pretty amazing though. These are the only things that have gotten me off of 6v. The taste is the same as dripping on LR attys but more vapor. I have no idea how they do that since they're both consistently around 2.6-2.7 ohms. Kent C said he used them really hard and didn't find any burning after the autopsy. I've got more eGo on the way. I'm planning on measuring and using a small pipe cutter to take off the plastic skirt this time :)
