ok I took the center plug, i cut it out so i could stuff it around the cup and while it doesnt solve the refilling issue im sure a whole for filling can be added.

its vaping like a beast , wicking extremly well, tastes better then with the big inner plug. its a little sloppy but works amazingly well, hope someone else will try this.

omg, i had to update, you must try this, its vaping better then ever, wicking so well with pull after pull. i need to add a fill hole and im freaking set.

^ Nice! I may try it myself when I get a chance.

As for the refilling hole, how about drilling a hole in the side of the Carto big enough for a standard ejuice bottle? The problem is sealing it up again to avoid leaking. Maybe a small rubber grommet or a rubber/silicon push valve would do the trick.

zelda, it's their dekang peg winston that I bought! (e-liquid cn, where we get their CE2's )

Their pg and peg is good at vapor also, but the vg still is even better for massive clouds, I mix just a tad of their vg for massive, off the scale, plumes and clouds, and still get the good flavor of their winston peg.

Thanks I still like that strong tobacco flavor.
After all this time I still think no one can beat Dekang for the tobacco ejuice.

I think the ohms of the Element are still a tad too low on these KR808D-1 XL 3.7v ceramic carto's.

If I vape for longer than 1.5 seconds, the juice tastes burnt.

At least I get enough of a vape with just a 1 second draw (I'm not a big vaper to begin with), so they are usable for me.
I am not a big vapor either, and have become accustomed to 1 second draws. I've been calling them little sips, heheh. My problem is that I find myself holding this thing in my lips when preoccupied with something, and taking these sips each time I breathe. I eventually come up for air when it dawns on me what I am doing.

I don't like my juice at 3.7 volts either, and adapt the KR8 to a 3 volt 510 battery. This is a perfect combination for me and my juice. Fortunately, I found my sweet spot right away and hope others can find theirs too.

I agree the xl's are still running too hot but the 510 regs are great! Yesterday I took 2 regular 510's in my wallet with condoms on and 1 on the hello. I came home from a full day with a cart and a half left! I don't need morejuice than that for a day. Throwing 2 carts in my wallet is better than carrying a bottle of juice to me.

I'm getting by with a 510 on a Hello battery, but it is a bit hot for my juice. I predict that a 510 at 3Ω will be perfect.

I'm glad to see that you are having a better experience now than you did with your original order.

I have about had it with the KR808 XL that I have been messing with. It would not wick well enough until the filler ring was removed, and I have been fiddling with it ever since to keep my juice at a constant taste. It was a lemon to begin with and it will always be a lemon. It is now filled with Salem Menthol. There is nothing delicate about its taste and it vapes well on just about any battery or PT. Thankfully, it does not taste like a lemon.

I now use it for a few minutes to refresh my taste buds. A lot of my testing involves taste, and believe it or not, this method saves a lot of time when making small changes.

So yesterday, I opened up a new KR8. It does not have a black wrapper and measures 3.0Ω. I should have opened this one first instead of the lemon. So far, it wicks the way it is supposed to and has not leaked in any position. I did not remove the filler ring and plan to leave it there for all of my testing. I have not *quite* worked out the foul taste yet, and therein lies the rub. I'll have more to say about this one in a later post.

Now they have mega vgo's with a 1300mah battery!! Everytime i order something, they come out with something better.

Where on the site is it? All I see is the 650mAh Vgo.

Good to hear the other 808 XL is doing better 'br'. I'll await your further thoughts. My samples from 'bad' should be here any day now.

I just got a couple of these in today and I don't have a syringe, is there a way to refill them without one? I pulled the two white caps out and I'm a little lost now, I've never messed with a cartomizer like this before.

Also, is small white cap needed? It seems to be vaping fine without it.

shaun11, do you have the ceramic cup version with the clear silicone pieces inside or the older plastic cup version with the white plastic filler cap?

Maybe it isn't, I got them in the e2 pocket kit that boxmods has, and I emailed Ken before hand and he said that the blue and stainless were the ceramics and the black was the originals. I haven't had any of the originals, so I can't compare. It has two rubberlike pieces which can be removed, a large one which I draw from and a small one with 2 holes in it.

The ceramics have a white rubber mouthpiece, a clear middle silicone gasket, and a clear silicone filler cap.

The older models have a white rubber mouthpiece and a white plastic filler cap.

If you have the older model, you can (gently) pull the plastic filler cap out and refill straight from the bottle. Just be careful putting the filler cap back in... don't force it.

If you have the newer ceramic model, the refill plug is removable but I advise against it. It's safer just to run down to the drug store and get a 20 gauge blunt syringe.

I just clicked on vgo and it was at the top. they have them in 510 and 901. You have to buy a set of three kits though.
