im going to remove all my previous videos that used the plastic e2's, they don t sell those anymore so those dont really apply anymore, ill leave the dry burning one and maybe one or two others and ill replace them with all new ceramic e2 videos and reviews when they are done.

ill place my review here and in a new thread to make it all easier.

Got a few boxes from Ken today and weird issue with the first one, looked dry, blew from the mouth end to see if anything would come out and it was totally blocked? Couldn't get any air through to the battery end at all. Checked the others and just one other is the same way. On a different one, what looked to be a minute piece of ceramic was laying on top of the caps. Took a needle and poked it through, seemed to help one of them but not the other. Can see light through it though so not sure why air won't go through...

Anyone else experienced anything similar?

So uh...where can I get some? :) COV seems to be out of stock, and *I* can't find another place to pick up a 5-pack and see if I like them. Any help would be appreciated ;) Oh, 510 ones btw.

I know MadVapes has them on order, and Vapor Junction. Those are all I know of off-hand.

Now its time to convince them to make a new 3 to 4ml extra wide e2.

Also, v1john have you noticed that there is no refill limit on the new ceramics, so now these arent considered disposable, there used to be a 4 refill limit up to 10 but now that is no longer there.

impressive indeed.

Right, one of the websites now said something like minimally 4 to 8 (or 10, I forgot) refills, but some people can refill them even longer.

Normally I would say 3ml or bigger is not good, because I really don't want too much liquid baking in the heat of the carto for 24hours or longer, but...

A) If they simply make xl cartos 1/2mm. bigger all around, for a total diameter of just 1ml larger, I think the wick would not be so tight around where the cup slots are.

and

B) With the e2 cartos wicking way much better than filler cartos, it is true that the e2 can easily go through more liquid.

So, yes bigger capacity may work, but without getting carried away.

I'm thinking more about something like a battery that is slightly wider than the regular kr808d1 and 510megas, but more narrow than the vgo. The vgo battery is shorter than these 808d and 510's, so the vgo battery could be a little longer and more narrow? This way, a carto that is just about 1 mm wider may be a better solution for new standard ecig?

You could also order some of the 30pks from e-liquid, and sell friends and neighbors the 5pks you don't want. You can use Western Union also, if that helps.

edit to add: the weights have changed, so buying two can trip the shipping cost up one notch, try different things on your shopping cart until you have your package as full as possible

bad I just threw one of the XL808D's (2.8ohm) on my Bartleby (3.7v). MUCH better flavor with the higher ohm cartos at 3.7v. The vape is warm, but not hot.

yes the higher ohm ones are cooler at 3.7 and above, wait till you try one tested at 3.0 ohm, those run even cooler and are sick at 5volts.

hey at least now people can choose what ohm they want to match whatever volts they like so thats a plus in my book.

The weights changed, and now a 30pk of XL's wighs so much that 2 of them trip the shipping cost up one notch. Now it may be better to add liquid or vgos, etc. when ordering a couple 30pks of the XL's!

I don't know if it has to do with the stainless steel being scarce, but the kr808d-XL 30PK weighs almost twice as much as a 510-xl 30pk in stainless steel.

Be careful on the shipping cost with your shopping carts. Definitely try to add other things that can ship essentially for free with your order.

Also the vgo kits are sold in sets of 3 now, and a set of 3 kits does the same thing to shipping, and leaves a lot of unused free-shipping space in the package.

I've been vaping on a KR808 (3.0 ohm) for an hour or so. It's okay on a 3.7 volt battery, but I like the taste better on 3 volts. I thought this would be the case and sure enough it is. I like it better than the 2.5 ohm 510's that I have been using.

So now it looks like I need to go through all of my 510's and measure their resistance. Hopefully a good number of them will measure more than 2.5 ohms. If so, I will keep the ones with a higher resistance and let my wife have the rest. She will smoke anything. Actually, she requires more of a hit than I do, so they will be better suited for her.

If you're a dedicated 401 user I think you'll be happy with these, with one caveat: Just like my older CE2 510's, I've noticed a little seepage with these. Not enough to be considered a leak, but when I take these off to refill them the connector is a little damp. I don't know if it's enough to cause an auto battery any problems, but to be safe I'd probably stick with manuals.

I'd like to try some for the 401 even though I don't use it near as much. I can't wait to try the 808 XL's either. BTW, all my 401 manual batts are not sealed; never could figure out why they didn't..

As for the seepage, my standard cartos all seem to seep a little too. The plastic CE2 I had was straight up leaking due to the slots getting warped. That won't be an issue w/ the ceramics.

One thing I noticed with these new Ceramic Carto's is that they still burn a bit on a fully charged battery.

I charged my GG Slim 10440 battery to max (about 4.2v) and it gave a burnt taste for the first few minutes.

(CE2 KR808D-1 XL 3.7v)

remove the center plug, the one right under the mouth peace, remove that and leave the inner plug you refill with and try that, and no it doesnt leak without that center plug, i left it upsaide down for 5 minutes with no leak.
