mentioning a problem that needs to be fixed is great , acting like no other cartomizer or atomizer has these same issues till today is trolling.

Whether some other cartomizer or atomizer system has this same problem is completely irrelevant and it has absolutely no business being in this thread (when offered as a defense).

This is an E2 Cartomizer Technical Discussion thread. Responses that have the same technical merit as "But Jimmy did it too!" are moronic and useless.

I am sure there are a few of us who have a different opinion on who the trolls are.

your right it doesnt but some people make it out as if the issues with the e2 only happen in the e2 and are the end of the world and are the worst thing ever made.

well thanks for proving my point

Troll #1 checking in here :D

You never mentioned that some of your's leaked like a sieve and some only leaked a little. Maybe they shouldn't have removed the silicon at the base? But if you had brought that up people could have been aware and checked for it right? Especially the auto-bat people. It's not good to short those out.

when I do review these you will here the good and bad thats for sure
I thought you were doing reviews (don't know how I got that impression). When will you be doing your first review?

no quick i never called you a troll, you know i agree with much of what you said and i agree with many others who have complaints.

i actually did mention a while back that some will leak and they wehre aware of that and fixing the issue, i mentioned this a few times many pages back before and after they shipped out the ceramics. Just another issue that needs to be addressed by them.

No my videos where just to show everyone how they work and how to dry burn and stuff, non of them said review on them, all my videos where positive and i didnt consider them reviews becuase they where not the final product, after the time nav and others and i spent getting therm to make adjustments and after them telling me these are much better and then after saying on their site they think they are perfect well then i will hold them up to that and actually review these with all the good and all the bad , i just had issues with family yesterday and that slowed my testing.

i got complaints and youll all hear them but i also like alot of the improvements.

Well, I have FINALLY gotten these new CE2 cartomizers. I have been reading the threads, and even commented when the threads first started. I have seen the ups and downs, and waited for others to be the guinea pigs.

Well, I got some of these from Ken at Ken's Box Mods. :toast:

All I can say is that these things rock!! The vapor production is incredible, and the ones in my first pack did not have any primer. I put in some juice using the little tube thing on my trusty syringe, and they vape like a champ.

I have had no leaking, no burning, and have "chain vaped" them for a while. I was shocked when I first took a drag. It almost choked me. :vapor: SO MUCH VAPOR!! I have vaped 5 different types of KR808 cartos, and 6 types of 510 cartos, and these are by FAR so far the best. It is like dripping without the hassle.

Hopefully these can be refilled many times, I only got 15 in this order, and if some American supplier get them back in stock I would not mind paying close to $10.00 a pack for them. They are worth it to me if they will last me 6-8 fills each, whick I presume very doable.

Just wanted to let yo guys know, and will do a formal review in the review section in a couple of days once I have more experience with them.

BTW mine are 510 standard. And yes, the ones Ken had are ceramic.

Edit: they do not work on my pointy post 901-510 adapter. One of the guys earlier said they might not because of the "too wide" slot, and they are correct. They thread flawlessly on my Hello, eGo, Janty Stick, and 306. I will order a few adapters to see which ones work when I make another order.

Waiting patiently for some US vendor to get these in stock so I can buy a few more packs. Not sure how long the single pack I got from CoV is going to last me and I have no interest in going back to the old cartos. I've had to go back and try all my juices again just because they vape so much better on these. :)

Some vendor needs to order a huge supply of these, as it seems many people now want them and they sell out VERY fast.

wow, glad you like them, i think the ceramics and newer design on the inside should make these usable until they die. I dont see these being disposable anymore since its just like a atomizer minus any filler. use them until they cant be dry burned anymore becuase its to gunked up or until they pop i guess.

I just refilled the XL 808D that was "gurgling" on me earlier. I topped it off and have it sitting on a paper towel - connector end down. It's been about a half hour and no leaks yet. I've never been a big fan of 808D cartos, but these taste better than any I've tried.

I just started using my first XL 510. It measured 2.5ohms and at 3.7v the taste is a bit harsh. I threw it on the Little Sister at the lowest setting and the taste improved greatly. If I didn't have the LS a factory 510 mega batt works fine too, although the vapor is a bit warmer.

Welcome to "The In Crowd". Have you tried short drags yet? Like 2 or 3 seconds?

I hope all 15 of yours work as well. If so, you won't be needing to buy any more real soon.

We don't know the life expectancy of these things yet. My wife and I have been using a single pack for several weeks with two loses. One died a natural death and I murdered the other. At least one member here has been using a single E2 for a solid month.

Don't be surprised if some vendors in the USA are a bit slow about stocking these things. A good number of E2's still have flaws and they may be worried about customer satisfaction. I really don't know what I would do if I was a vendor.

It looks like my order may ship soon. Got an e-mail from them today. I'm looking forward to trying the new release.

Witht he older releases, I did find that if I let them sit for a week after filling them the wicking issues and burnt taste disappeared, but I noticed that with any of the KR8 cartos. Saturation seems to make a difference.

BTW: If you have ever used a MicroSoft product, you have paid to be a beta tester. Early adopters lead the charge in any technology.:img:

The KR808 that I have been using just isn't wicking well enough. I'm getting a hint of a dry taste all the time now, even shortly after a top off. The filler ring hasn't been touched yet, so I suppose I'll monkey with it a bit. When it works right, it is perfect for me on a 510 battery. I may open a new one before long and see what it does, but I'd rather find out what's wrong with this one first.

I'm starting to develop an interesting problem... lots of loose cartos of different types lying around - all working - all good. I hesitate opening any more of these for testing because my whole desk is starting to get kinda messy. I'm even starting to have problems deciding what to take with me to work in the mornings.

I guess it's a nice problem to have though, no? ;)

After a fair amount of diddling and trying, it would appear that the wife won't be able to use the 510 XL's that I got with her TV-AC. It's just not going to work.

The TV-AC (Tasty Vapor Atomic Cynacide) is a peculiar liquid. It is quite, quite strong.. but it is fairly thick and it is sensitive (or perhaps my wife is) to over-heating. The XL's that I have.. coming in at 2.6 to 2.8 Ohms are just "too warm".

I'll probably give this another kick later with some 3.0 or 3.2 units.

I'm curious if anybody else has tried the 510 XL's (current production) with this liquid.

It's probably an elementary question for me to ask Scott, but have you tried a lower voltage? My 510's work well for me at 2.5 volts.

Today's mail brought me a Little Sister, two 10440 batteries, and two 5-packs of the new ceramic E2 cartomizers. I feel like I've fast forwarded to Christmas and Ken from boxmods is Santa ;)

The batteries are on the charger, so it'll be a while before I can give the LS a try-out with the E2 carts. In the meantime, I'm vaping one on my Tornado. I didn't see any sign of liquid in the cart, but I did do a couple of 10 second dry burns. Didn't detect any stinky odors, so I filled the cart using the plastic needle, left out the center ring, screwed on the Tornado cone, popped on a delrin drip tip and am in vaping heaven. Clouds of vapor are coming out of this set up and the liquid's flavor is clean and crisp. Nice, but not overwhelming throat hit. In short, I'm a happy camper :D
