Just went to do Bad's PTB mod on one of the 808XL's I just received and it HAS THE FILLER in it just like nicotime's , hooked it when I was pulling the wick out , looks just like the old filler from an atomizer cartridge . I don't like the looks of this . Will have to check all 90 of them now.

I was afraid of this. If there's one batch, there's bound to be more....

Does anyone else find it strange that those getting dodgy shipments aren't high profile posters in this thread. Is it a possibility that RS is moving the old stock to those who (they hope) 'may not know the difference' ? You know sales & marketing people have strange ideas at times.

I was wondering all along what RS would do with the dodgy cartos they had produced. They can only send 'so' many to smaller markets like Australia, S. Africa and Iceland. When you have a production run of up to 20,000 a day (as advertised on their site), there has got to be a quite few (thousand?) of these oldies hanging around not making them any money in return.

It's enough to make a man take up ........

So let me get this straight.

If you have a problem with an e-liquid.cn order, their answer is to replace it on the NEXT order?

I guess that is one way of getting repeat business, especially when postage is so much you need a sizable order to make it worthwhile.

Is this company (e-Liquid.cn) a reasonably large firm or a well disguised garage operation?

This morning I picked up out of my mailbox 60 of the kr808d-1 R4 CE2 cartomizers, 3.0 ohm's. Disassembled these look exactly like the R4 ce2 picture provided here: http://www.royalsmokers.com/Release4-Ce2.jpg. I have filled Two of them, one with Nhaler - octane - High voltage - houseblend coffee, and another with FSUSA - Ry5. I have vaped equally on each since 10 AM and find both to have good flavor and vapor output. The Nhaler octane has a "metalic" taste when vaped harder. I found that removing the silicone plug on this one reduces the temp of the coil and produces better flavor... . The RY5 tastes fine, just fill and go.

Well I just got an email from Martinez that I did not get the R4 and nobody has yet...and Linda was wrong.

I dont know what version they are but I guess I got a little of each of the failed versions...pot luck...all I know is that when I bought them they claimed to be no filler and no glue...I payed with a credit card thru Paypal so I'm not sure which course I'll take yet.

Careful what you say or do they will cancel your account and won't allow you to order anything else. Martinez expects us "little people" to just take what crumbs we're offered and be happy.

Thanks...I'm just not sure what do do at this point...do I sit here and take each one apart to see what it has inside and fix it myself...do I get Paypal and credit card involved...It would be a PITA shipping them back and probably at my expense then wait another month for maybe the same thing...dunno!! I do think you should get what is advertised and if you dont a decent company would take the cost hit for their problems...especially coming direct from the manufacturer.

They won't fix it when they ship to the wrong address much less fix a botched order at their expense.

Customer service for the little people is not a top priority.

You Don't file a Paypal Dispute or Contact your Credit Card company.

You send them an e-Mail and give them the oppertunity to make things right. When I say right, I mean not on your next order, now.

But I will make sure that people are aware of just what must be done to get a refund/replacement when RS/MiT/e-Liquid.cn makes a mistake on their end.

Boy I wish I could agree with you ziod, but you know what they did to me. When I emailed them to explain what they had done they told me we shipped it, our job is done. How much opportunity do you give a seller?

I believe you have to give a seller a Chance to make good on a mistake BEFORE you take it to the next level. If you e-Mail the seller and they say, “No Problem. We will replace them for you.” Then the matter is over.

If you e-Mail them and they give you the run around and say you have to buy more items for them before they will exercise the warrantee or replace a mis-shipped item, then be all means, contact Paypal and your CC company. You gave them a chance to fix a mistake and they didn’t.

Someone mentioned that the reason they want you to buy something else from them is because of the shipping cost. Are we dealing with 17 year kid selling on e-Bay or is this a company?

Returns are part of doing business selling a product. Perhaps if they sold a decent product they would have less returns.

Perhaps they send the best cartos to the people they feel will post a review and send the rest to the others?

unless it doesn't matter to them what you review, other re-sellers always buy things either way
it didn't seem to matter much that V4L is not interested in buying them, and since then, one of the
royal smokers site posted an article about them blocking the entire country of spain from buying through paypal because one customer got upset over $22 or something about that, rmmember?

So for you to get your DOA battery replaced under "warantee", you have to pay for shipping registered mail back to China, Buy something else from e-Liquid.cn, then pay shipping back to the USA.

Hmmm. Let's say you did ship it back. Is it guaranteed that they will unconditionally ship you a replacement? Or could something like "We're sorry, we only warranty DOA and your cartomizer shows evidence of being used." happen? I can't imagine what registered to China costs.

or maybe send them back the ones with the silly putty at the bottom

quick1 what if every now and then a brand new carto shows evidence of being used, what should people do with those, or the ones that seem hairsprayed

i did get one that tasted like mistress or someone said, like hairspray or something

if we're to use the ones with putty, maybe a lab should tell us what it is, so that the FDA doesn't

what should happen is that these ....... e2 should never be shipped to people, plain and simple, if the rest of the world is happy with that then thats great for them but here in the usa that doesnt fly.

im not passing blame but they are a business and need to act like a responsible business, this doesnt allfall on one person but either way it needs to be handled, mistakes on the part of the company need to be fixed by them.

these are not mistakes, I used to call them mistakes during R1 and R2, the same thing happened,
I still have lots of boxes with the production sticker '20100616' when it didn't matter what they produced on june 16

after a while and many nations including the U.S. , Canada, and Australia, (etc?) many just can't fool themselves into calling them mistakes any more

whatever you want to call it, it shouldnt happen, what happens now if a vendor gets these and starts selling them, maybe they already have and dont know.

now like i said I dont think this is one persons fault but this isnt our company to be worrying about that, they need to fix these issues.

The r4 isnt ready yet, yet a member recieved them today. WTF??

I just heard about thread problems in another forum; this time w/ 808 CE2's; said the boxes showed signs of being crushed. This is the first problem I remember hearing about 808 threads being dented. Seems like there's still some trouble w/ this so look at your threads before using...

I should have mine tomorrow or Thursday so I'll be sure to let you all know.

The above thread problem was found out to be them trying to use a 410 on an 808..lol...when they mentioned the box was damaged I thought it could be thread damage so I posted 'zoid's old pic and asked them if theirs looked like that. It turns out their threads were fine, just the wrong type. It's hard to troubleshoot w/o pictures and just words ;)

This is in light of the current fiasco I know but at least the thread issue isn't back. I'll be getting mine soon and will report back.

And yes, I would like to see 'javajoe's r4 cartos. He said they looked just like the picture..
