so im assuming you gunk is mixing with your juice .

So how is it mixing I wonder, and why not on yours.

I removed the cup lid, all I use is the o-ring and white mouth piece. Are you using the white mouth piece? Because like I wondered, what if you're just inhaling it all, while my white mouth piece is trapping it and sending it back down to the carto?

i think as its frying the juice, the splatter with gunk is building up where your seeing it and then its eeping back into your juice.

i really dont think its the sleeve leeching becuase then the prefilled one would have black juice and it doesnt.

ive used the the prefilled one till its bone dry and the inner cap looks like this

as of now people are buying at thier own risk, people are selling 4 different versions and most of them are bastomizers and then the few that have the real ones are at 2.5 ohms or in that range. so thier results are a toss up.( some have the real ones at higher ohms but god knows who).



This isnt the vendors fault, we all know where the blame lies.

The ones i have, the real r4, the same one that i sent to 16 people, no glue, full sleeve, no afl filler, and proper ohms at 2.9 to 3.1 , those have been working very well. are they perfect??, NO, are they alot better then other revisions, I believe so. why arent they perfect? because while they wick much better and i will also use them as is, the ptb makes them that much better. so im being picky in that sence. other then that it doesnt leak, fits all my mods and are at the proper ohms. so not much to complain about.

Do you have any extra to sell?

yeah i think after a DRY CLEAN YOUR GUNK GETS BURNT OFF BUT THERE IS STILL SOME AT THE ENDS and then when your adding juice its mixing and fizzing as you vape into the inner part of the cap. thats my take on it at least

It has Lptb now, so just those 2 little spots should not make it all so dark so soon I hope, I'll see how it does.

My prefilled one looks ok too at the moment, at the mouth peace, I'll check it inside better later.

Lptb is Lipton pyramid tea bag; the external wick they use does not work as good as things can work, it's a remarkable day and night difference when you use Lptb and remove the external wick completely.

one flat one not flat., so ill see if laying it flat is mixing with the left over gunk

if thats what it is , then that not just a e2 issue, other cartos have the same issue. as long as its not the leeching from the sleeve. if your worried about the gunk then just refill them a few time without cleaning and dry burn and throw them away as intented.

And yes v1john, ptb changes the e2 drasticly for the better.I have countless pm in youtube form people who used the ptb and are in love now with the e2

but still switching to the plastic cartomizers would be better and people would know more accurately the situation of their carto at any given point in time.

(and I would rather pay china to overnight me tons of plastic cartos instead of xl stainless steel ones)

i know but if using the e2 as intended, meaning vaope and refilll it , if that doesnt cause the issue you had then the e2 is doing its job, if cleaning it and prying gunk around and that gets into your juice well thats a seperate issue.

i took a third r4 and scraped the gunk around and prodded it and placed the white mouth peace back and im vaping this one too. to see if the loose fresh gunk replicates what you had

whats funny is with ptb i like the white mouth peace with no inner plugs at all. vapes differently then the drip tip but i like it.

oh my goodness do be careful, I did wonder if a cleaner carto just means that it's clean because the vapor inhaled all the dark vapor before the carto was able to trap it

I was just about to say, the next step might have to be the autopsoes, lol, but not the vaper's I hope, I meant the cartos!

Something else, I just dipped the vgo threads in rubbing alcohol, some gunk came off from there, but there is still a small amount in the groove.

Cleaning tips should be on the cleaning thread I guess, it makes it easier to keep the e2 organized
