Does it seem to do that only if you are trying to quote someone? The previous was for booted access.

No i was trying to start this thread from Safari with a FireFox user-agent. After 3-4 failed attempts I fired up FireFox 3.5 and it posted successfully on the first attempt. No quoting, new post.

SJ has been on vacation this week. He should be back in a couple of days.

Thanks Walrus, sure hope he considers we Mac users important enough to fix the glitch that's happening with Safari!

I hate switching back and forth, back and forth to FoxFire and Safari.

Yep, I thought the site had been down all week too....

For Opera users you can get back in by doing the following:
*- Go to ECF
*- Right click and select 'Edit Site Preferences'
*- Go to 'Network' tab
*- Select 'Identify As Firefox' from drop down list at bottom.
*- Click 'OK'
*
The 'Post Reply' button is still broken but if you click the 'Quote' button instead, you'll be able to post although you may see lots of mysterious asterisks appearing throughout your post for some reason....
*
All very tedious, lol.
