Arctic Fox is not "easy peasy" to set up, but once it is, the degree of customization is up there with much more expensive mods.

if the mod detects that the resistance of the coil is above the limit I believe it switches to watts mode. I believe most TC modes are set up to do this, probably a safety feature. Make sure your build is stable and starting resistance is below 1.5 ohm.Thanks! Yes it works

If the resistance of the coil doesn't climb fast enough, the Pico will kick you back to wattage mode instead of giving you a TCR error, like it does with the ArcticFox firmware.

Judging by how indestructible (so far) the Resins have been for me, I'm even willing to give up all of my original colored Picos for these...
I'm in trouble...But... Why couldn't Eleaf have simply went with a 25mm width & the larger-sized batteries... One step forward, two back.

The 22mm version can have a new body without re engineering everything else. May be the 25mm Pico will get this body eventually. I always use a silicone sleeve so these decorative variations are irrelevant. An ultra light weight Pico would be interesting if such a thing is possible.
I agree, they already had the molds for the 22mm version so simply changing materials was easy - no no tooling to invest in. They are beauties for sure, translucent with specific colors to choose from. I've thought for some time that the wide variations in color and unpredictability of what you'd get slowed adoption the original resin version. Super light with no paint to wear off, they're a winner!

Yeah, @gerrymi , I already have a ton of Picos on hand, so I really need to hold out for my favorites, instead of the usual "Mine, mine... MINE! " knee-jerk, Pico-purchase reaction I usually get. 
It doesn't help that I already know that I positively ADORE the hand feel & performance of these 'lil cuties either.

Even more now that I just received my 3 Picos ordered from FastTech (on the BUNNY sale)
2 full black, and one black.
Picos are getting harder to find these days, and they are still my favs.
These 3 are going on the shelf for safe-keeping after testing them to assure they work.

In my experience, you're best off well below 1.5 ohm. I've tried a coil that was around 1.4 ohm and had nothing but problems. I think it would take too long to cool off and the mod would decide it was over 1.5 and kick me out of TC.
I think I remember hearing about someone having a similar problem with the Kayfun Prime. It just doesn't work reliably below 0.5 ohms, and all sorts of weird things happen if you try it. You might try a higher resistance coil and see if you have better luck that way.

The Pico is compatible with ArcticFox firmware, which is awesome. Also, SWAG's 2A charging on a single battery is going to age your batteries very quickly, but that can be prevented by using a 0.5A USB host.
Personally, I'd much rather take a 3 or 4 battery mod with me than either one of those.
