For clarification. I received an order, one of the very first after the label changes of the LR 510s. I notified them ASAP and knew a landslide was coming. If the problem isn't corrected I have 10-15 here that I know are good and Elendil has offered his order to replace any bad ones I may come across. I will then work with them on replacing the bad ones to replace mine and hopefully not Elendil's. It just makes more sense that way than to have anyone ship them back to me and then me to them again.
I hope I worded that right cause I know it's late here. If you have any questions PM me, and again I had planned to only check and replace any bad 510 LRs cause those are the only ones I can cover. boB

boB you cant possibly test every single atty in this order. It isnt part of a hard enough volunteer job already.
Test a few random ones and ship them.
People were aware of the possible issue prior to purchasing.
If they feel the need they can check their own they can, if there is a problem and go though you to work with the company.

We're in the states! Rose I agreed to and honestly have no problem testing the 510 LRs, off the top of my head there are 100-125 of them. I will have to say that at this time those will be the only ones due to the fact that I am comfortable and know what I am looking for with them. boB
boB, I'm in no hurry so, if it helps, put me at the bottom of the list. I can wait as long as it takes

I'm rather upset with EM for putting you through all this. Not as upset as you are I'm sure, but still upset with them.

Guys please, don't worry about me, I took this on as a way of paying it forward. I just hope even the ones that the resistance is within specs hold up well for everyone. Seems the complaints are piling up at the EM sub forum, I wish they had just listened when I 1st told them. I hope the delay we experienced is related to the issues being resolved, but far as I go, I have no problem checking them and no thanks required. Again, this is paying it forward for what has been payed forward to me. TC, boB

Klynn, yes, had I known then what I know now I would have never ran this. I feel it unfortunate that people are expecting the 510 LRs we've come to love, but my experience with them would suggest otherwise. I sure hope they have the issues taken care of for this order, but doubt it.
Anyway, getting close, few hundred miles. Packages have been known to take some weird routes here though

Guys, it's here. The 510s are complete junk. I checked 2 boxes, only 4 within specs, one as high as 5.5 ohms!!!!! Of the 4 within specs the bridge height varies terribly. I'm going to get a caliper, but my guess is the "cup" height varies up to 1/4 inch. I will get pictures, and focus on other aspects of the co op for now. This was worse than I imagined it could be. This is something you don't even need an equipment to see there's a problems, a decent set of eyes is plenty.
A little stressed ATM, I think we may have to have them refund? They obviously weren't able to address the issue being fully aware going in which leads me to believe they are not capable of sending decent replacements. IDK, will update frequently here. boB

I couldve swore they said they would check beforehand..guess not. Yall want to talk to HC and have her send joye LR?...im sure pricing would be more though..they run like 3.50 plus shipping...Other than that, were kinda stuck with crappy goods...could ask for special favor if need be. Could hit up boge or slb too...We have options still..just will take more time. Im in no rush for mine..just want them cartos .....Im open for options...buaway LR seems to be out for now...slb, boge and joye are only options...Let us know if you come up with ideas...not ur fault bro, wouldve happened to anyone that placed that order.
