EPuffer Nightmare

Hi Everyone, I am new to the forum and e-cigarettes. I just ordered my first from ecigarettescanada.com and though service was fantastic I think I bought a dud, I have nothing to compare to but so far the experience leaves much to be desired. It seems like the cartridges are not full enough? since I get little smoke, taste or the "throat hit" I am reading about. The batteries don't last long and despite being determined to quit smoking I am not getting far. I don't know what type I bought it came in a whit box with smoke everywhere written on it but no identifying info, it was cheap though! Hopeful I decided to try another so I saw epuffer had a canadian link and I ordered the elite mini (I think that is what it is called) and am now waiting....... after finding this site and reading this thread I am a little worried I am going to be out a lot of money ($228 cdn for the bonus kit and 1 bottle of juice). So anyways I noticed that there seems to be a link to the model of the e-smoke despite the name, does anyone know what kind for the epuffer elite mini? I am gathering you need more atomizers and want to source a more reputable place but don't know about the compatibility? Anyone with som info for me would be great. What a great forum by the way, everyone seems so helpful! and that makes me hopeful.... eh

I'm upset about all these customer service issues, and about the fact that they aren't doing currency conversions on their charges for US customers. I e-mailed them about both issues before my computer crashed, and I see now they never responded. I will e-mail them again, but I'm about out of patience with them.

Yeah, no offense leaford, but I bought the Eaze Magnum from them as my first e-cig based on your video review and recommendation that they had the best batteries... obviously, experiences will vary...

No matter how good the product is, ePuffer won't rank higher than the middle shelf unless they straighten these things out. And at the moment I'm leaning towards lower shelf.

At this point, after my experience with them, I would have to agree that they should rank lower shelf. Just my opinion based on my experience. I ordered a Bloog and am planning to review it when it arrives, and hopefully my RMA with ePuffer either leads to good replacements or a complete refund. I'm leaning towards the refund.

leaford, they don't do currency conversions for American customers because much to my surprise, their prices ARE in American currency. I found that out when my $124 order translated to a $167 CD charge to my PayPal.

I got a bad charger from them and they replied to my email telling me that if I ordered something else, they'd send a replacement AC charger without receiving the faulty one. So I ordered a USB charger. Then after using EAZE micro (808) for 4 days, the atomizer crapped out. After a week with no replies to 3 emails, I packed it all up and sent it back nearly 2 weeks ago but haven't heard a sound from them yet.

Sonnyinbc, how did you get in contact with a real person to get a name? I've only gotten email with no individual signature. Do you have a phone number for them?

Threaten them with the Better business bureau or legal action to get your refund. This instruction must be in the really small print in the return policy, cuz once I did, I got my liquid in exchange for the penstyle I returned

It's just a shame. Good luck on getting a working Bloog anytime soon, like the EAZE MAGNUM it's an LT/Smoke Anywhere problem.

The only reliable seller I found of this type of unit was on ebay and esmoke.net. They claim to test every unit before it goes into inventory with 50+ chargers running 24/7 and test carts for every batt.

I only had one battery problem and they always have carts even when LT and Smoke 51 didn't, even now I can get flavors from them in two days.

I don't care for the tobacco flavor anymore (to my surprise - I'm a black coffee and non-filter type) but those are what seem to run out fast and menthol - but never more than a few days in my experience.

My girlfriend had a problem with a USB charger a month after she bought it, (I think her cat mangled it when it was attached to her computer) esmoke sent her a new one with a free pack of cartridges. On my second kit order, (need those backups) I got a nice "no smoking magnet" in the box. Some of this was off ebay and some off their site. Just my experience.

By contrast, I sent back 6 batteries and 4 atomizers to NJOY before I got that to work, they were nice but for weeks I was screwed and it cost me over $20 in postage until they just let me keep the bad stuff. NJOY tastes nice with the Kick Virginia Primo in it but it doesn't have the volume of the Smoke Fifty One's I got from esmoke.

After my purchases I heard a lot of negatives about LT/Smoke Fifty One and their cronies like Bloog and GreenSmoke but I haven't heard that about esmoke? Any one else have any experience with them? It looks like a Fifty-One product - maybe they do test each one.

I also heard that Smoke Anywhere and Smoking Everywhere were the same outfit in FL that split up? Why does that scare me?

I don't have any experience with smoke51, Bloog, or e-puffer, but I did get a similar unit from Vapor4Life (he calls it King Vapor). It's a 2 piece/disposable atomizer unit. Leaford said yesterday that it is not compatible with the other style, but so far I have been impressed with it. The throat hit on it is intense. The battery life seems pretty good, and the carts last quite a while too. I've only had this unit for a day, so I don't know if it stands the test of time, but it may be worth checking out if you're looking for a disposable.

Im in the same situation with epuffer, they sent me non-working junk and if they go by the invoice date or order date, I have 6 days left. Since they dont respond on their own support ticket system, I opened a ticket, told them I want to send it back and printed the ticket. Their automated ticket system also emails you a confirmation. Hopefully this will help if I have to do battle for a refund.

I would have to say at this point the 2pc disposables are extremely unreliable even if you find a place with good customer service. Until a new design comes out I think its a much better idea to go with the separate atomizer. It's a lot cheaper and mine have all been flawless up to this point.

ePuffer, Smoke51 and a few others are all just distributors for Loong Totem, they just rebrand the actual products with their own logo. Not sure about GreenSmoke, but Bloog and a few others don't actually get their product from Loong Totem, they are compatible with Loong Totem parts and go off of the same design, but it's a different manufacturer from Loong Totem/ ePuffer/ Smoke51.

E-cig.com also sells a LTv9 compatible that's not actually manufactured by LT, I just refuse to order from e-cig.com because most of their products are junk from what I hear, no customer service and shipping takes little short of a decade, not to mention they are based in China (I think), so shipping costs are enormous. Go through part of the process of ordering some carts off e-cig.com without ordering them, and just get to the point where it calculates shipping to the USA... your jaw will hit the floor. I almost ordered three 5-packs of carts from c-cig.com until it got to where it said it was going to be over $20 just for shipping... that's when I left the site and placed my order elsewhere.

From what I've read so far, Bloog seems like a really good alternative to the actual LT manufactured batteries, and you don't have to pay outrageous shipping (in the USA anyhow) or worry about customer service, as they are a supplier with a membership in this forum. More on that though when I receive the Bloog and do my review/ demo, and I plan to do a followup review after a week or two to rate battery life, durability, cart life and re-rate battery performance.

I'd also like to add that if I end up having a bad experience with the bloog, I'll likely be giving up on the LTv9 style e-cigs - the Dura looks like an awesome option if it comes to that.

I assume you mean the Dura C. For me it is way too new to put up cash for that as a main. It would be good to try it once you have one of the workhorse models working steady with a decent amount of backup consumables.

That's all right! I confirm from my side as well. I guess esmoke.net is testing their stuff before they ship it and playing hardball with the distributor/manufacturer. I guess they could considering all the positive feedback they got. IT looks like they are selling a lot and the right way. I gave up counting, a couple of them are mine and my girls: (I left out the two negs because they were ridiculous)

Yeah agree, too new and hasn't even been released yet, they are only taking pre orders but no indication (other than "March") as to when they will even ship. I was actually referring to the classic Dura though, but it doesn't look like Janty is even selling them anymore. As far as the Dura C goes though, like you, I will be waiting until there are plenty of time tested reviews before making that purchase. I'm kinda taking a chance already with the Bloog, and I hope it works out as well.

I suppose if the Bloog doesn't work out I could always try and be lucky enough to catch Puresmoker at the right time and get a Pilot, I know it's the same (M401?) as the EVO, but I saw a head-to-head comparison in one of the review threads between the Pilot and EVO, and it seems the Pilot blows the EVO out of the water in vapor quantity.

What attracts me to the Dura is the reportedly huge battery life and ability for the carts to hold 40 drops (40 drops!?!) of liquid. The almost exclusively excellent reviews on the classic Dura help it's case quite a bit as well.
