leaford, they don't do currency conversions for American customers because much to my surprise, their prices ARE in American currency. I found that out when my $124 order translated to a $167 CD charge to my PayPal.

Sonnyinbc, how did you get in contact with a real person to get a name? I've only gotten email with no individual signature. Do you have a phone number for them?

Staresm: I got a phone call from Lisa Green at epuffer and have looked on my phone and all the long distance calls just give me a number and a "out of area" message. No company name or person`s name. Checked thru the incoming calls back to Feb.15 .

Same as you was surprised when my credit card bill was higher because of the exchange rate. Now, I just add 20% to what my bill is and it comes out about right.

Got the epuffer phone number from paypal--it is--647-476-6020

Thats me, I first ordered from smoke51 after watching Leaford's reviews. Then 3 days later ordered another kit from epuffer, to see if I would get their shipment faster in Canada as well as aquire the better batteries that he recommended using. Smoke51 order was placed on the 27th of Feb. That order according to the UPS tracking, should arrive tomorrow. The epuffer order was made on the 2nd of March. While checking their order tracker it showed that up until today the order was processed and not shipped?! Today I received an email notifying me that the order has been back ordered. I sent an email reply demanding a cancellation of my order with a full refund and that this was completely unacceptable. We will see if I get a response back. If not I will follow teardrop88's advice and call my credit card company to deal with it. Highly recommend not doing any business with Epuffer.com!!

Yeah, I posted (in another thread I think) that in my experience the ePuffer stock status means nothing... at least you got an e-mail, I just got a note in my order that some of the items I ordered (that were still listed as well in stock on their site) were backordered...

Thanks for the encouragement!

If you look at the e-cig E-9 pics on the e-cig site, it does look exactly the Bloog. I find it odd that a cc was charged on 2/10 yet the product didn't "leave" China until 2/27. Even in a best case scenario it would be 10 to 20 days from China to the US from 2/27. I know things are rough with customs but ordering from your supplier after you take money with a 2 to 3 week lead time is not exactly professional IMHO.

BTW, sent an email to the vendor I like about why they are not on the forum. Hope to get a response soon.

Also read here that Johnson Creek does not have an FDA certificate like they post on their site. Anyone else see that?

NO ONE has FDA approval, not even the tobacco companies, and probably never will. Anyone who says they do is lying. Nicotine is not FDA approved, it's a poison so it likely never will be.

Ah, thank you very much for the insight, Leaford. I'm just wondering though, how did you find out the Bloog was an e-cig.com LTv9 clone? I asked nycsublimegirl if their manufacturer was e-cig.com because I think I read it in your blog, and she said they have never disclosed to anyone who their manufacturer is, and that she wasn't allowed to say, so I'm just wondering how you found out about it.
I have one direct from e-cig.com, so I recognize the design and packaging. The two piece charger, silver colored connectors on the cartridges, and the 4-cartridge packs are all a dead giveaway.

Also, since e-cig.com isn't calling it the "New Mini-Ecig" anymore, do you know which model Bloog and Red Dragon are using? I'm assuming it's the E-Cig E8, but they have 4 different types - A, B, C and D.
I just checked, and the letters refer to how many cartridges are included in the package. It comes with a new case now, BTW.

Oh and Leaford, I noticed a post you made sometime back where someone had asked you about refilling those LTv9 style atomized carts and you replied and said you weren't having any luck...

When I first started talking with nycsublimegirl about the Bloog, that was one of the first questions I asked. I don't have any e-liquid so I never tried it with the ePuffer carts. She said it's not as hard as some people think to refill those things. This is what she told me about the best technique, and I'm not allowed to directly quote PM's as per forum rules but I'll give you a rundown, and this is for anyone else interested in trying this as well:

She said after you've puffed on a cart for a while, but before you smoke it dry, periodically drip about 5 drops in through the hole on the mouthpiece. No need to remove the silicone seal or drip in through the battery end, just drip in through the hole in the mouthpiece. After each drop, blow through it to pop any bubbles that might be in there.

Not sure if it works, I don't have any liquid to test with, but she said she can generally refill most of these carts for up to a week before the atomizers die from the dripping on them.

Hope this helps.

Well, I don't find popping the cap off to be any more trouble than trying to drip through a tiny hole, but to each their own. ;)

But I was down to my last couple cartridges while my computer was down, so I tried refilling, and got better at it. It's a matter of getting the technique down. I can now keep a cartridge going for 3 days or so, refilling twice a day. Pop off the cap, drip 10-20 drops slowly, one at a time making sure each soaks in, and stop when it won't soak in anymore. Then blow through the mouth end. Not too hard, you're not trying to blow the liquid out, just settle it into the filler and clear the center tube. Let it set a while to soak through, and voila.

Thanks for the encouragement!

The slow order processing and shipping are part of why I don't recommend ordering from e-cig.com, even though you can save a few bucks that way. But if you're going to, please go to my site, and use my link. Costs you nothing, and I get a little something. ;)

I got a bad charger from them and they replied to my email telling me that if I ordered something else, they'd send a replacement AC charger without receiving the faulty one. So I ordered a USB charger. Then after using EAZE micro (808) for 4 days, the atomizer crapped out. After a week with no replies to 3 emails, I packed it all up and sent it back nearly 2 weeks ago but haven't heard a sound from them yet.

Sonnyinbc, how did you get in contact with a real person to get a name? I've only gotten email with no individual signature. Do you have a phone number for them?

Thanks for that info. It's pretty confusing for a Canadian company to price in US dollars, but at least no one's being overcharged.

That's all right! I confirm from my side as well. I guess esmoke.net is testing their stuff before they ship it and playing hardball with the distributor/manufacturer. I guess they could considering all the positive feedback they got. IT looks like they are selling a lot and the right way. I gave up counting, a couple of them are mine and my girls: (I left out the two negs because they were ridiculous)

Fast shipping~Item as described~Thanks~

Hope to deal with you again. Thank you.

Item just as described, Thanks

What a great item for such a great price! A++++++ seller!...............

Jak,

they cost $145.00 bucks and are smoke 51's.

There goes a negative for you

Well, my Magnum from epuffer just went in the mail back to them today. One battery was DOA, the other lasted less than a week. So far I have 'lost' about $70.00 in shipping/postage. I paid for shipping to buy two kits, and had to pay postage to send them both back... and not a damn thing to show for it but experience.
I like the two piece concept, so I ordered a package from e-cig. What the heck, give it a try... Ordered on Friday at 11AM. On Sunday at 7PM I got an e-mail notifying shipping, and giving me a tracking number. Went out on the 8Th and was at Pudong airport that day... got into Toronto today at 1PM, and as of 6PM it had left Toronto on the way here.
Don't know about you guys but that seems pretty darn good to me.
My experience with e-puffer, despite what it says on their site, do not ship until almost a week after the order is placed and paid for.

Okay all, here's the bottom line on my order. I received the missing parts today so I finally have the full working starter kit that I ordered on Jan 26. That means it took EPuffer 42 days to complete and deliver my order in working condition.

When I filled out a 2nd ticket asking for the missing parts, I got a borderline rude response. In a nutshell, I was told that my file said I returned x and y (not w, x, y and z) and would I please get an RMA # first in the future. From my previous post, you'll remember that my request for an RMA was ignored so many times that I wondered if EPuffer was purposely trying to run down my 30-day warranty. I fired back that they were 100% wrong, everything I returned was itemized in a letter as well as on the customs form, gave them the ticket # that proved the RMA # was in fact issued, and reminded them of how many apologies they owe me if they had an ounce of professionalism. Believe it or not, I got a response and my first apology.

I've used my EAZE Micro all day today to test it out. Guess what? One of the batteries is dead already and will not recharge. I'm not even gonna bother sending it back because that's how much I need this nightmare to be over.

Conclusion: EPuffer customer service is subpar. The starter kit contained faulty parts and now even a replacement part is dead after only 1 day of use. I feel like I have completely wasted my money ($126.00 USD) and time. I can't recommend them at this time. :nah:

I hear ya. I walked away and ate the lost money. Absolutely crap.

That's what they're hoping people will do. If it's not too late, you should fight it. If it is too late, you should still try to fight it. Unless you are rich and don't care about money, in which case you still should just to make them pay - they deserve it :D

Still no response on my RMA either. I'm thinking on linking them to my video review and telling them that unless they want that video popping up on YouTube in addition to Google Video, plus every single forum even remotely related to electronic cigarettes, they'd better issue me my refund without question. I'm also going to tell them that they can pay me an additional $15 to ship the damn thing back if they want it because I'm not wasting any more time or money on them... they made me pay to have them ship it here, now they can pay me to ship it to them, otherwise I am charging back the amount of the order and not shipping it back at all. And if they give me hassles, I'll tell them not only will I do what I can to spread the video like wildfire and perform a chargeback, but I'll also report them to the Better Business Bureau and do whatever else I possibly can come up with to completely ruin their reputation. Hell, I'm a professional Web Developer, it's what I do for a living - if they really piss me off I could go as far as to make a website called epuffersucks.com and let the world run rampant and slander them to no end.

It had a nice ring to it, I thought, so it's now registered. Now hmmm... what to put on it... perhaps just a forum and let 'er rip? Deficit, if you want to throw content up for 'ransom' purposes shoot me a PM.

Ya know what? That's the impression I got. It pains me that they got a mention on USA National TV. I imagine that got them a ton of orders and a 20% restocking fee is a tidy profit for sending out non-working junk. For all we know, restocking means taking our broken parts and putting them into another customers order because that's how disorganized I think they are. I'd love to get feedback from those returning an entire order and if they get a full refund or are hit with the restocking fee - we already know you'll be out $12+ s/h. The only consolation is that their poor reputation will catch up with them thanks to bulletin boards and personal reviews.
