It looks like they are manufacturing them in multiple colors. They are neon looking colors so they are not my cup of tea.

Being able to remove the center piece without removing the outer tube would really be ideal, since the biggest problem so far has been cracking from re-attaching the tubes to the bases. These things really have the potential to be my "ideal" setup. I still want to see them with metal outer tubes, but until then I'm really optomistic about them just the way they are. Come on USPS...

Actually that is not them in colors, that is a photoshop job done to color them up, they wont be produced in colors for at least a couple of months maybe a month and a half at best.

Great! I ordered 5 boxes so hopefully they will be as wonderful as I hope and I can then move over to some pretty colors for summer!

I just got the shipping notice so hopefully I'll be able to play with them soon.:vapor:

What voltage do you use with these Vortex cartos? I just got mine today and tried it at 4.3 on my Provari - first taste was nice, then Burnt! Help!

Not sure what voltage to use because I am not lucky enough to have a Provari. But I would suggest starting at a low voltage.

The reason being is once you get that burnt taste, it means your burning juice and forming "gunk" on the coil wire. The gunk inhibits wick and cause more gunk and more burnt taste. It is a death spiral.

I'd suggest starting at 3.2v and moving up slowly. You might find also that thicker juices do better at a somewhat lower voltage than thinner juices. Thicker juices just don't wick as fast as thinner juices. Hence, they can form "gunk" faster under certain situations.
