flicking purges it, a nice good flick as to force it up the tube and out the mouth peace. easy to do outside but inside you need a napkin in place at the mouth peace, and flick it with a little force and it clears the condensation out.

I will give this a try in a little bit. Got a puppy laying on my legs and she won't let me get up to get a napkin. :)

I think it might work better flicking to the bottom and then blowing it out however, as the center tube protrudes into the cup a little bit. I will post my results when I give it a try as this may solve my biggest issue so far.

for those of you that have tried the v-tex AND the fluxomizers...(stainless and/or black) how do these compare to them? i have the vortex's and would also like the fluzomizers but like many, im worried about the leakage and wicking problems on them. can someone shed some ligh on this for me please? thanks

It's a different kind of vape. Kinda like cotton candy...it flows right up and melts in your mouth :) For now, you get more choices in resistance values if you go with 510 threads. I like th 2.4ohm range on my stock eGo batteries, and use them on my KR808D-1 batteries as well.

With the CE2, the coils are at the top...really close to your mouth...hence...they feel a bit warmer. A good fresh CE2 will even push vapor right into your mouth almost without even dragging. CE2 has a much easier draw than the Vortex to me...especially on my sealed up manual batteries.

CE2 needs tools to fill. I find myself using syringes and needle tip bottles for everything anyway (even direct dripping on atties)...less mess...easy measuring. Some juices you'll want to make adjustments (lift the ring) to the top seal for optimal wicking (but most will work fine right out of the box unless you're chain vaping really hard).

Also, it might be more my imagination than fact...but I think the shorter CE2 might have slightly better flavor production (shorter wicks?). Of course they don't hold as much juice as the XLs. I like and keep both kinds :) I like the short ones on my Mini setups for golfing and fishin...KR808D-1 shorty auto batteries with 2.4ohm 510 fluxos on an adapter....beat them to heck and back and no leaks yet. I can suck them dry pretty fast so I fill plenty, cap them off with carto condoms, and take them along.

Only hitch I can think of with the metal CE2 (and this can happen with the clearos too)...is be careful shoving metal blunt tip needles in the holes in a way that might damage the black sock around the CE2. It's possible you can push that shrink wrap around the CE2 loose, or poke a hole in it if your needle is too fat...and that could lead to small bits of juice leaking in the center air tube and causing a 'gurgle'. If your needle catches the edge of that stuff and doesn't slide in easy...try a smaller needle, or just stop and fill from there. It's only happened to me once and I was still able to use the CE2 for weeks, it would just gurgle a little until the juice level went below the little tear I made.

One last thing with the CE2 that's a bit different. It's not a bad idea to get in a habit of letting off the button shortly before your draw is over. Reason being...condensation can build up in the rings and cap and gurgle if you don't. Using a nice open drip tip can help alleviate gurgle potential as well. These babies do put out lots of vapor so sometimes it needs help not getting some of it trapped in the rings and tips :)

I believe I've found heaven ...

My first box of Vortex had a couple of leakers and didn't really work well with my main-staple juice and 808 batteries -- burnt tasting. BUT THEN, my lil' chuck arrived. Velvet Vapors Sweet Almond, my Chiana chuck, a Vortex from the second box (ALF removed), and a drip tip == HEAVEN.

I've refilled this bad-boy ~6 times in the last 16 hours and she's still going strong! No leaks, condensate in the lower cup is minimal and hasn't needed to be dealt with yet, and clouds and clouds of light, sweet, almond vapor.

I still need to find a replacement vanilla (again, just went through this, but I'll gladly do it again so that I don't have to mess with multiple setups) that tastes good in these Vortex, but I don't think I'm gonna look back on this one. I love being able to see if there's a flooding issue around the coil (again, no ALF so I can see inside the lower portion of the tube) and being able to know for certain that it's time to refill (a major issue I had with cartos).

These are a WIN! Weeeeeeeee .... Jan's a happy camper! Thanks, GotVapes!!

He's speaking Portuguese (as do I). And, yes - he does like them, especially how easy they are to fill, how good the flavor is, and how you can "back-to-back hit" with no problem. You may have caught this, but he said, "back-to-back hit" in English :)

Also, he says a few times that they "vale a pena," which means they're worth their while to try out and use.

Good review :)

Dont understand what hes saying but i think he loves the vortex.lol

Flicking to the bottom and blowing out into a napkin worked best for me. The condensate just wouldn't all come out through the center tube trying to flick out the top. The flavor was off for a couple of drags after this as it saturated the wick with condensate but worked great after that.

Thanks for the tip.

I ordered some over the weekend because I've tried all the other stuff, and figured this would at least be interesting. Gotvapes shipped them out right away, and I've been using it tonight.

I LOVE it. The flavor is amazing- easily the best flavor I've ever gotten out of a juice. It hit beautifully from the first drag- no primer taste whatsoever. I did a 10 second puff, and no burnt taste- I can chain vape it with no trouble. Relatively warm vapor, and plenty of it. The throat hit seems more mellow than my regular atty of choice- which I personally like. I don't need or really want much of a throat hit.

I did mod it just a little- I put the silicone ring from a clearomizer on the top, and added a drip tip. It has not leaked a single drop in the past 4 hours, and I'm on my second fill.

Will I break one? Will some preform better than others? Could the design be improved slightly? Yup. Just like everything else I've ever used for vaping. I live in NY- so at $7.75 a pack for analogs- even if I use 2 a day I'm still ahead.

I went back and bought 4 more packs because I do not want to be without them, and I have a feeling DH is going to steal one too.

Now- I just have to figure out how to clean it!
