Ok I can see the material making a difference since the case is actually the negative side of the battery and thus adds resistance. The series/parallel part I said assuming the same battery, meaning comparing single to single mods, series to series, and parallel to parallel using the same batteries. Of course a 2 battery mod would be different from a single, etc.

Compare the noisy cricket to the VCP. You'll know a difference, especially because one of them is a handgrenade

A mech is basically a battery, a battery holder, a button, and a 510 connector. How in the :censored: does one "hit harder" than another (assuming the same topper and battery)? I mean seriously you should be able to get the same "hit" using a decent gauge wire duct taped to the battery for free as compared to an expensive mech mod.

For someone who has Never used a Mech Mod, it is Hard to explain just how much Better a Mech can work just from doing Simple Cleaning/Scotchbriting contact points and surfaces.

And how much Difference there can be from Mech to Mech with regards to "Hitting Harder".

I polish mine using my Dremel. Jewlers rouge and a felt bit after I use a wire brush bit on the threads and contacts works beautifully

Yeah... Something that you would Probably never do with a Regulated Mod.

If a Regulated Mod isn't "Hitting Hard", you just push the Up Button a few times.

LOL.

True, I was surprised when Super T came out with the Workhorse how much better it hit than the ELA (which cost twice as much). I've never tried a hybrid or pinless mech (whatever you call them) but I imagine they hit even harder.

They do hit harder due to a lower voltage drop. the VCM2 is a good hybrid tube, but you can replace it with a standard 510

Asking how hard a mod hits depends on the hand the mod is in and what kinda mod it is. For instance, if I have my cherry bomber in my right hand and my Tesla nano in the other, chances are either one will leave one helluva popknot on your head :D

Sticking with the mod, I don't see it all just being the vape quality, but that is high on the list. Another part is the construction. Whether that be its own protection when dropped or when juice or body oils start getting into it. And, there is also the safety designs built into it. The safety designs are not just a part of the chip, either.

Sometimes, especially in an unregulated environment, components can be too cheap.

IMHO
