Folks, most people are still going to buy from their favorite vendor no matter what David's intentions are. I would hope that finding out what is actually in the flavoring is benefical in all ways. Majority of vendors handmix their own ejuice and use either capella's, lorann's, TPA's, and flavourArt's flavorings. I'm more curious about the flavorings than the PG/VG. I've read enough about them to feel that they are safe. I don't purchase juice from China or buy what vendors sell in the USA simply because of all the other goods that have been shipped here that have been deemed dangerous for various reasons.

I would hope that David isn't trying to monopolize and corner the market from doing this. If it is the case, he will lose my business. I don't play in an unfair market. In all reality, I don't think that is his intention. I would think it is so that he can post it on his website and state that all of his ejuice is safe. I would love to see other vendors follow suit.

This is just my opinion.

I agree on all points, hairball. I'd also like to add that if David and crew do find that there's something "off" about their juices, they will still publish the results while changing their recipes accordingly. I know, it's a lot to ask for, but ultimately I think it will serve them as a vendor as well as it serves us as potential customers.

I feel it would validate this vendor's good intentions if they could start from the start and, at least, disclose which of their e-liquids they already know contain diacetyl, wouldn't it?

Yes I agree...this would be nice to know now! Of course one has to wait...for that disclosure! (Related to diacetyl thread that was closed.)

It is not that expensive to have samples tested at commercial labs but I think most juice makers are content that there ingredients are safe and they probably are. Next spring i am going to plant a small crop of totally organic tobacco to extract nic for my DYI and I will send a sample to a lab to test for concentration and purity.

I find it odd that if you're not FOR them then you are AGAINST them and some conspiracy exists that other vendors are out to get him. Some people just see through the rhetoric and have come to their own conclusion. It's not a mob. We are individuals who have seen this behavior over and over and we each have our own opinion. As this progresses I imagine more and more will see what we've seen.

I'm I totally missing something?

It seems extremely odd to me that there are people (who compare vaping against the toxins in cigarettes) who would actually oppose analysis of juice. Really? Or turn a good thing into something else? Really? I guess hypocrisy knows no boundaries.

Besides that. The FDA is going to have a list of requirements that will have to be met in order to be a compliant supplier. Why would anybody be against getting ahead of the game? We do want this to be legal, right? We're not wanting to be criminals trading on the black market, are we?

Anybody who wants to make sure that I'm not vaping toxins, or dog pizz, or what-have-you, that is totally fine with me! Keep it up!

This isn't about any one supplier, any one chemical, or any one person . . . this is about an entire industry. It's a little bigger than all of us put together, and certainly larger than any single one of us ffs.

Maybe I've misread this thread, but why does it look like the vaping world's only weakness is it's consumers?

No Panini, you are not the only one!!!

Okay I'm just going to say it.

Am I the only one who just can't seem to understand where or when FSUSA decided that they cared about disclosure? I was under the impression that those wanting it were crazy hysterical people who were most likely working for the competition. :)
